There was cascade of colour as yet another green and blue vortex of energy burst to life, this time carrying an autobot, who arrived just in time to hear Scaag's squeal. Scaag and the femme who exited the bridge were close, in fact they were family, or atleast adopted relatives, and she knew his scream like the back of her hand, it was his fearful squeal, one she had memorized after the multitude of times she had caused him to emit it. The femme's optics darted quickly, Scaag, The doc and Cut-up were present, and three other bots, one of which was armed, holding a rifle to Cut-up but also under attack by Scaag.
Her yellow and her black plates glistened and reflected in the sunlight, not even a dent on any of said plates as they were newly granted to her, bar her the armour that adorned her head, which on the contrary was very worn, torn and lacked the vibrancy of colour it had once been granted. The optics that continued to dart from person to person as they tried to get as much information on her surroundings were a bright and light green, one that was dimmed slightly by the brightness of the blue visor ahead of them, recording and storing data as well as the state of herself and her variety of weapons.
The femme continued to step forward, observing Cut-up's damaged state and the medics trying to heal him. Damn. she thought to herself, the situation he found himself in would be perfect for her to seize her vengeance for the pain he had wrought upon her were it not for the medics on both sides being forced to fix him by oaths and codes they had sworn to uphold. In her servos, held just infront of her torso, was her trusty railgun, her go to weapon for every situation, one that used metal rods fired at supersonic speeds to deliver high penetration and high amounts of damage.
And yes, it was loaded.
Keeping an eye on Scaag and the unknown mech who held a rifle, she began to speak. "Back away from the minicon." Her tone was harsh and blunt, for despite the sensitive payload Scaag carried, Dashside still cared for him as a brother rather than a weapon, and would try to keep harm from coming to him, as was her main priority right now.

Tallymark looks at Dashside, continuing to train his rifle on the wounded vehicon
Fine, I'm not here for any Autobots today anyway.
He looks at the two medics
I'm here for the vehicon. Now step aside, I don't want to waste ammo.

Chiro had just set up her portable spark-kickstarter and hooked it up to Cut-up when Tallymark drove up. She heard his demands and simply shook her helm as she activated the spark-kickstarter. Out of the corner of her optic, she saw Scaag throw the rust fluid and run. Seeing Dashside show up at the same time, she knew what she would do. She called over the the other Autobot.
"Dashside, please take Scaag back to the base. And make sure he doesn't go far from the medbay. Once I'm done here, I need to have a chat with him about leaving the base by himself and not telling anyone."
Then, letting the spark-kickstarter do it's work, Chiro stood up and faced the bounty hunter, putting herself between Tallymark and the vehicon. She looked Tallymark straight in the optics, her gaze unyielding and her tone of voice firm.
"I'm not playing hero, I'm doing my job according to my oath. Whether you like it or not, I will not stand aside simply because the Decepticons said they would pay you a handful of credits. He is my patient now and so long as he is under my care, I will not condone more harm to come to him."
Chiro knew the full risks of what she was doing as it was a situation she was familiar with. However, her medic's oath and honor made her options limited.

Tallymark looks at Chiro
That would make my job more difficult than it needs.
He fires a shot at a near by rock, which ricochets, bouncing of a few more rocks before flying past Chiro's head, nearly hitting the Autobot. It was a warning shot. He then returns the focus of his rifle to Cut-Up
And I'm doing my job. Now stand aside, or I'm going to have to bill my employer for your death as well.

(( For the love of Primus, Backbeat, please slow down and let everyone have a chance to respond. Taggon asked ya to wait for us. I get you're wanting to get things done, but let us give you something more to respond to. Unless you just want to give the medics more time to repair Cut-Up with your banter as we backtrack to explain what we're doing as you chat. )) Panacea continued working on Cut-up as Chiro joined her, as expected. After Chiro sent Scaag off, she felt the unnerving sensation of rust beginning to form on her armor. She frowned as she quickly wiped off the rust fluid as best as she could and gritted her dentas as the sensation settled. She then wiped off the little bit of the rust fluid that Scaag had put on Cut-Up before inspecting the back of Cut-Up's helm. She let Chiro take care of the spark-kickstarter issue since the older medic got her's out first. Then Tallymark showed up. After hearing that he was hired by the 'Cons, Panacea hesitated a moment. It wasn't unheard of for 'Cons to try to kill each other for one reason or another. She wondered briefly what the vehicon did to deserve a bounty hunter to be hired. But as Chiro explained to the bounty hunter, she did have her oath and she had already started tending to the vehicon. That being said, if the bounty hunter really pushed the issue, she wouldn't lose sleep cycles if she left the vehicon to his own karma. For now, she kept silent and worked on repairing Cut-Up's fried circuitry, letting the old medic take care of the bounty hunter. Maybe if luck was on Panacea's side, the old medic she hated so much would get shot. Stomcutter watched the situation unfold before him as he made his way over to the group. He frowned behind his mask as he heard Tallymark threaten his sister and mother, activating his thermo-energon axes in response as the warning shot was subsequently made. He made one swing of an axe downwards right in front of Tallymark. Stormcutter's intention was not to hit him, but to return the warning and force the bounty hunter to back off. Stormcutter would then place himself between Chiro and Tallymark, ready to react and defend the medics, as his battle visor flipped back down over his optics for protection against any immediate head-shots. "Following through on thy threat would not be an advisable action. Thou art outnumbered. Put away thy weapon and leave."

Cut-Up could hear so much going on, with his sensitive hearing, the stepping, the talking, the arrivals--it was becoming slightly overwhelming, as he depended on his sense to tell him what was going on. He received scraps of information, Something about a guy named Scaag, a counter hunter, 'step away from the vehicon' and that same voice wanting to just do their job. The sound of someone cocking their gun told Cut-Up that yes, he was in for it. Then--then one of the pairs of servos placed a spark-kick-starter on him, causing a powerful pusses to shake his body--
Everything went up from there. Cut-Up would feel his chest briefly burst to life from within, as he experienced a full-fledged kick-start. No other words could describe it--his spark began to spread and coarse energies he required for survival through his body once more, and like a light-switch, due to the power applied, Cut-Up's visor would flicker. Thinking that had been hard would be--easier. He was almost back up to thinking speed. There was a small groan from his systems, as he lifted his servo to take out the rock embedded in his right optic, his left optic examining the scene with a functional (and cracked) visor. Seeing once more enabled Cut-Up to gaze upon the scene in front of him.
Two Cybertronians stood before him, as if guarding him. He heard the female before him talk of how he was her patient. Meanwhile, there was another still working inside his helm---he could feel her needles and poking into his brain module--who stole a glance at the white and yellow femme. But these folks were protecting him from a bounty hunter? Cut-Up almost flinched when he heard gunfire--the bounty-hunting mech was shooting at his protectors. Thankfully, it had been a warning shot. Cut-Up would gently lay a servo on the femme who was working on him, his single visible eye, though it was split and bleeding, it's eyebrow was slightly furrowed. Cut-Up's servo had landed on her hand that was in his processor, and now he gently directed it out, while his other servo reached for something that had fallen on the ground beside him: his stolen curved pistol. It looked a bit charred, but if this femme could mend something as delicate as a processor, she would be able to do something like this.
"I need you to repair this. There's something in here that prohibits it from being fired at a target. Remove it, and when you know the weapon works," Cut-Up would pause as he spoke to her in a pitch that only she could hear, "Toss it to me." Cut-Up then did something he knew the medic would disapprove of. He pulled something from his subspace: one of his own axes as he arose from his positioning. His joints would creak some, but surprisingly enough, the mech's resilient protoform had prevented any damage from the fall to effect his organs. As tired as he was--he had enough energy to fight. The small words he had told the other she medic had occurred just before the large mech would speak. Cut-Up's creaking, aching form would step forward, in front of the she-medic and large-bot.
"A bounty hunter." Cut-Up said, his voice gravelly and static thanks to his mask, He clutched his side with the arm which had been purged of corrosive acids. It was a bit sore. His voice had sounded like a scoff when he had said the two words. "I don't know who you three are--but I'm not in the mood to let people die on my account either." Cut-Up addressed the three, before stepping forward, his own axe readied for the bounty hunter, "As for you, I already know you're nothing short of what my people call a rascal. Threatening because you like the sound of credits clinking in your pocket. If you want a fight, then you can just try your best junior." Cut-Up's optics blazed challengingly at the bounty hunter. Cut-Up had a plan, so if this mech really was going to try to duke it out, he'd have more than one thing coming.

Scaag continued screaming as he ran and hid behind a couple of rocks before transforming into his bomb mode. Then he began to roll around, out of cover and just keep making noises as he drove around on the ground. He was in full panic mode and basically ignored everything that happened. And then gunfire was heard and if Scaag would have been panicking before, it was nothing compared to this. Now he was basically crying, shaking, screaming and tumbling around all at the same time.
MOMMY! DASHY! HEEEEEEEEEEEELP!

Between Scaag's screams and Chiro telling her to grab him, Dashside quickly made dash for the small mech. Said run quickly evolved into a slide, and letting go of her railgun with her left servo but keeping her hold on it with her right, she swung the latter arm forwards, aiming to wrap it infront of Scaag and pull him towards her chest, using both her arm and the railgun to secure and hold him as she grabbed the foregrip again with her left servo, keeping him in place.
The femme remained kneeling for a few seconds, Scaag in her arms as the servo on the trigger gently squeezed it, emitting a high-pitched hum and blue light that quickly grew in intensity. "1..2.." She counted slowly under her breath and upon reaching three, she turned and stood up facing Tallymark, trying to keep the weapon as steady as possible as it fired the bolt through the air. "3..." She muttered, as the shot would quickly soar through the air, travelling at Mach 4, 4 times the Speed of Sound. With the small space between Dashside and her target, the shot moving at such a rate would very quickly bridge the gap.
It was somewhat simple physics really. With the speed it was moving, the rod would garner quite an amount of kinetic energy, and when it hit it's target, slamming to a sudden stop, that energy had to go somewhere, and converted into a different kind of energy, an explosion. The explosion would be moderately sized and do quite a lot of damage, especially with the penetrating power it's speed also granted to it.
Speaking simply, if it were to hit Tallymark, there would be quite a lot of damage done to him, including an explosion and a 4 foot metal rod sticking out of his chest.

Nearly killing everyone on the Decepticon ship is not something a "rascal" would do. It's sloppy work really.
He adds
You almost killed an entire boat filled with innocents because your angry at Backbeat. Your going to face "justice" and I, more importantly, will get paid.
Tallymark sees something moving towards him and steps slightly out of the way, the rod hits him in shoulder, he quickly returns fire, firing several shots from his rifle, aimed at the weakest part of Cut-up's armor, and Dashside's railgun.

Panacea frowned as Cut-Up interrupted her work to repair him. Why was it that people never could sit still for very long unless they were knocked out? She pushed her disgruntled thought aside as he handed her a pistol and asked her to fix it. She exvented as he then got up and went towards the bounty hunter.
Panacea looked back at the gun. She was a medic, not a weapons specialist, but she'd give it a try. First, she quickly looked over the pistol, memorizing how it looked before she began to take it apart. She then inspected the internals and fiddled with it some, trying to figure out what might be preventing the gun from firing. Panacea quickened her tinkering as the sound of gunfire reached her audio receptors.
Stomcutter did not move from his position when shots began to fire as it was his job to protect the two medics behind him. So for now, he would not actively participate in the fight in front of him. However, he did switch out one of his axes for his grenade launcher, just in case. He briefly looked back to Chiro and Panacea.
"Stay behind me."

Chiro couldn't believe the vehicon, in his condition, was going to stand up to the bounty hunter as she watched him walked out in front of her and Stormcutter. However, her attention got drawn to Scaag as he yelled out to her and Dashside. She smiled as she watched Dashside scoop Scaag up, but the smile quickly faded as Dashside broke the standoff and fired a shot at the bounty hunter. In Chrio's processor, there was no need for the younger femme to trigger a fight and make herself a target, especially while Scaag was in her arms.
"Dashside! I said to take Scaag back to the base!"
Chiro watched as the bounty hunter retaliated while Stormcutter told her to stay behind him. She didn't question why as she knew Stormcutter was doing what he always did: protect the medics. However, she needed to do something and not simply stand by as Dashside and Scaag were fired upon.
Chiro prepped her EMP Pulse Blaster and stepped out from behind Stormcutter, just enough to get a clear shot. She fired off a few blasts in quick succession in Tallymark's direction, aiming to temporarily disable the bounty hunter.

As he was grabbed by Dashside, he quickly clung to her like a small teddy bear as he had transformed when it happened. Sure, mhe was larger than before but still very small. 7ft wasn't that big, except when comparing to a human. Then he was big. But it didn't change the fact that he was extremely scared. And when the bullets started getting fired at them, he wouldncling even hared to her, continuing to cry and try to protect himself from the bullets. If Dashside didn't block a bullet or something, his left servo would get shot. And getting shot was not on his priority list.

Trust me. At the end of the day, things are going to be 'sloppy' for you alright. Cut-Up would just shrug as the small quip passed through his processor, as the mech would choose his words, then start to fight. Well, the bounty-hunters fool-hardy decision would be brought to scorn, just like the rest of the Decepticons. Part of what the bounty Hunter had said had been true, while others were simply what Cut-Up called results of his and other's actions. There was little time for detail analysis and review when the Decepticon fired for Cut-Up. The vehicon had his achilles heal, but it was not facing the bounty hunter, and the bounty hunter had practically just blurred his weapon in Cut-Up's direction. The vehicon would simply startto walk forward, slowly and painfully letting go of his side, as the bullets whistled, hitting his protoform, and being either crushed by impact or bouncing off: Cut-Up's protoform was something that had never been completely broken. It was scarred, but no weapon had truly penetrated it's surface. Cut-Up's walk would meanwhile build up as he started to run or the bounty hunter, building up speed.
As for the mech's claims, Cut-Up wasn't in the mood to talk. He could summarize his emotions into one: This bounty hunter made him want to hit something hard, and as of now, the bounty hunter would suffice for Cut-Up's next punching bag. Or That's what the vehicon wanted the mech to think. His legs were carrying him surprisingly fast, As he heaved with a grunt, shoving his heavy-duty throwing axe into the air, letting it fly for Tallymark's chest. It was a quick move, and the distance would also make this blow difficult to dodge.
<Shield recharged.
That was good news--Cut-Up would also receive a small message of someone coming for him, as he continued to bolt for the Decepticon. The spark-kick-starter had given him the energy and reboot he needed to fight once more--

Tallymark rolls quickly out of the way of the axe and disappears from view in a cloud of dust...
There is silence for a few moments and then a shot is fired from a sand dune a few miles away... The bullet flies towards Cut-Up's head. Tallymark de-cloaks for a brief second, the sun setting behind him.
I'm a professional. Now the hunt... STARTS!
He activates his cloaker as he steps back into the darkness of the night. He then moves to a new sniping spot.

-swoosh- The sound of an audible shield whipping through the air was heard, whipping right towards Cut Up, aimed not to hurt him, but for him to catch it. What one would do with a shield is self-explanatory. In the darkness of the night, the abnormally tall vehicon's plating reflected the light that shown down, making it obvious where he was. The vehicon, with the odd glowing visor, sprinted forward towards Cut-Up, his masked faceplate leaving his intentions enigmatic.

Gritting her denta with Chiro barking at her and Scaag continuing to wail, Dashside was starting to run out of options. She quickly turned, planting her foot away from Tallymark, taking the bullets in her shoulderplate, the one that was larger than the other as to absorb more bullets when firing from the hip. "Keep it down Scaag." She told him, her voice was quiet but her tone didn't have the gentleness that might be expected to come with such a low pitch. Using her body to shield the minicon, she began to call a groundbridge, making sure the coast was clear, Cut-up seemed to have the hunter's attention, and with this distraction, she slipped through the portal as it came to life, and then closed behind her as suddenly as it had arrived.
---
The rod had hit Tallymark.
It wouldn't go well for him. The bolt had struck him in the shoulder, and would easily penetrate whatever armour he was using due to it's high speeds. The damage done wouldn't stop there however, as like previously stated, the shot's spare kinetic energy would form an explosion on his shoulder, possibly damaging it and the armour plates on it even further.

Panacea continued inspecting the pistol until she found the cause of the problem. She quickly, but carefully, removed the obstruction and double checked that everything was good to go internally before she put the gun back together. Double checking that everything was ok with it now, she called over to the vehicon who asked her to fix it.
"Hey, it should be fine now!"
Panacea then tossed it to him like he asked. With that task completed, she then turned her attention to Chiro. Scaag had escaped, but that was perfectly fine with her. The sparkling had served his use to her as she now had her real target right in front of her. Unfortunately, she old medic didn't get shot like she had hoped, so, she'd just have to remedy that herself.
Panacea calmly walked over to the old glitch and stood behind the occupied medic. She held her emotions back so that Stormcutter wouldn't notice what she was planning as she silently activated her Thermo-Energon Blade. Then she looked over the older femme, analyzing her for a moment. Chiro was tense from the battle already, especially with her precious sparkling getting caught up in it. And now, it was Panacea's perfect moment.
"Dear mother, do you remember our little fallout so long ago? I do apologize... But we aren't finished~!"
With that, Panacea quickly stabbed the old medic straight into the back, the heated blade cutting through the old medic's armor, before tearing the sword back out at an angle, doing as much damage as possible that wouldn't outright kill the medic. She also purposely missed the older femme's Spark. She wanted her to suffer like she did all those millennia that she spent scavenging because the medics took Chiro's side of the argument. The medics who took Panacea's opportunity to be promoted and instead was demoted to nothing. Demoted to a scavenger to suffer limited rations with no help from anyone in Iacon because of the wretched case system. Panacea wanted Chiro to know pain for once in her perfect life.
"Oh, and that attack on your lab right before the war? That was all me~! Caase was such a good little sparkling, letting his big sister into the lab. Oh, and Stormcutter had no idea. Until now that is. But hey, what's a few hidden secrets between family~?"

Post by Doctor Chiro on Dec 6, 2015 9:36:38 GMT
Chiro watched Dashside leave through a groundbridge and she exvented, slightly relieved. At least Scaag was now out of harm's way. She turned her attention back to the vehicon as the bounty hunter disappeared. She worried for the vehicon as she knew he was in no condition to fight. But, he had stated that he didn't want anyone dying for his sake. A noble statement, all things considered.
And then Chiro hear Panacea speak. She began to tear her optics away from the battle before her when she felt a searing pain run through her. She looked own to see the tip of a blade protruding out of her chest, just to the right of where her Spark was. Then, just as quickly as it had pierced her, the blade was pulled out, causing more damage to her systems as it went. Chiro felt her body go into shock as as several key parts were heavily damaged and a lot of energon began to leak out. She listened to what Panacea had to say as she fell to one knee. Then a series of emotions ran through her. She felt shocked, sad, then angry.
"That attack was you? You.... You killed Caase!! He was your little brother!"
Chiro's body shook as she tried to stand back up and face her estranged adopted daughter. The one who had apparently killed Caase so long ago, the one who had kidnapped Scaag, and now just attacked her. Chiro wanted to return the favor, but her oath held her back. That, and her internal warning systems started alerting her to more and more problems with her damaged systems. She stared hard into Panacea's optics. Her tone of voice was low, cold, and steady, despite her condition.
"You have no idea the mistake you just made by admitting your fault to that attack..."
Chiro then fell to one knee again, the extreme energon loss slowly getting the better of her. She had to get out of there, but there was no easy way to leave. She felt like she was caught between a rock and a hard place as she sat between the Twins.
