Friends! Romans! Lend me your ears! Pardon the quote, but to the point, I call your attentions here to an event that could be quite beneficial to the site. Mods and Admins, there will be some content within this plot board that you might furrow your eye-brows at, but bare with me: I have consulted Astrinal, Feenxifire and Backbeat on the matter, they're up for trying it out, but everybody else )Mods and Admins included), you are the ones who are truly deciding whether this'll actually happen.
--Autobots--Decepticon Stalaken is going to switch to the sides of the Autobots after the death of his most trusted ally, Chaff. Stalaken will be actually trying to join up with the Black Ops group, the A19 Strike team. Of course, he encounters Taggon and the two get in a talk, and after the brief exchange of a gift, *Stalaken’s membership is considered.
The Autobots meanwhile have been pulling their forces together, and (as Feenxifrie and Astrinal have been doing) the High Command is re-organized, as the Autobots try to prepare themselves in such a way so that they may achieve a victory in the future. Looking to the past, the commanders do notice that small strike forces attacking the Nemesis seem to come in handy, and they settle for striking it if they can find it, deciding that the objective will be to neutralize the Nemesis’s engines and energon reserves. All the sub-factions/ geniuses thus start racking their processors for how to find the Nemesis, until a group or just one Autobot (now I am particular about who would do this, but if this gets to the point where we need to move things along, it’d be fine if someone else came up with the method I had in mind.)
As they do this, of course some of the forces are trying to hinder the whole Decepticon energon mining process---
((Stay with me here))
--Decepticon—
Tracing one of their own going out a bit too far without permission, Communication’s officer Soundwave (aka Mr. dark and brooding) follows Stalaken’s signature, to where he sees Taggon’s signature. The mech sends out one of his trusted minicons out through a space-bridge to the two vehicon’s location, and the minicon follows the two to the Autobot base, once Stalaken is taken by Taggon to that area. The Minicon finds out where the Autobot base is, and briskly or with very large effort makes his escape, reporting to Soundwave everything he’s seen and heard. Soundwave repeats this to Backbeat, and sure enough, the Decepticons find the Autobot base. This easily decides the super-laser’s first target, once it is constructed. The Autobots and Decepticons struggle over the contruction of the weapon, but alas, it is created.
---Both--
The Autobots who have battled the mining Decepticons and are trying to interfere with the phases of the plan assume the Decepticons are up to no good, and join the Autobots who are striking out to invade the Nemesis into space by applying what they had created on their own mining missions (the Autobots have been doing a quite a bit of that--or I have anyways. Not to brag, but I have undergone at least three successful and fruitful mining missions for the Autobots.)
Upon entering the blackness of space, both halves of the Autobots quickly see the Super Laser’s station coming along, and the Autobots originally meant to engage the Decepticons split off from the invasion group, flying off in their own small fighter ships and jets to subdue the Laser Station. The Decepticons work hard to intercept this attack, fighting as hard as their enemies, but unfortunately, the Decepticons already in the space station are charging up the laser to decimate the Autobot stronghold, once and for all.
The Decepticons aren’t the only ones playing it underhand, the other half of the Autobots entiering space flying off to fulfill their original purpose: infiltrate the Decepticon Nemesis. The Behemoth classed frigate and the Nemesis start their own space battle as well, but the Autobots that go are mechs and femmes trained for infiltration, so they eventually get inside. The Autobots then work to neutralize the Nemesis as they were planning to.
--
Both sides ferociously clash, but it is too late for the Autobots to stop the laser—it fires on command, sending a death ray to wipe the Autobot base off the face of planet Earth. The laser does just that, killing any Autobot forces who stood behind, though there are a small handful of survivors. (Ocs of course. If you think about it, twenty Ocs would be a small amount of survivors compared to the whole Autobot army) Backbeat knows better than to underestimate his opponents, and sends out any available Decepticons to check for survivors, and well, kill them.
The Autobots do the same as well, only instead of neutralizing the Decepticon base, the A19 Strike team members whom entered the ship decide they’re going to get rid of the Decepticon warship once and for all: They manage to get into the command center, block off the entrance, and fly the Nemesis full power for the sun. ((The Autobots who get onto the Nemesis get on at their own risk. Either playing the heroes who sacrifice themselves and take down a few thousand soldiers and the Decepticon base, or the heroes who just do the latter half and escape somehow. That is up to them.))
The battle ends with the Autobots in space collecting themselves, and then some of their number if not all going down to Earth, the battle lost to them, taking their wounded to their base, only to find it destroyed save for the few survivors and a very small amount of energon.
The Decepticons cackle over their barely won battle, and then start to fly back for where they think the Nemesis would be--only to discover it's burnt beyond a crisp, save a small bit of it torn off, with a small amount of energon and a few trinkets. (that's right level scientists on both sides. You got some plans you still want saved? Say your formulas and everything were salvageable. Try to make it a bit damaged though.) The Decepticons now must make camp in Earth, where they know energon is numerous, barely making it with the remainder of their fleet.
--
Thus, both factions must start from scratch.
EXTRA INFO:
((--In this, the goal is to basically reduce the Decepticons and Autobots to scattered factions on Earth, and this plot board would basically destroy both sides armies. This would sling-shot into things where rpers would have to be more hands-on: YOU have to do the mining missions with friends, quite literally, with no vehicons or protectobots, unless they are Ocs.
This would also force both factions to do more things, make more bases, and MECH and the Avacons would become MAJOR threats. That is the point of this plot board. Advice for the rest or a few other things? I know going on each other's bases is illegal, but, this would even the playing field for both factions. This would also vanquish both sides equipment, meaning everyone would start from scratch, no more V2's. That's not the main reason. No seriously. The point is for people to have fun being awesome.
Oh yes. If this plot board were to occur, it would be starting up VERY soon. Stalaken's already in the same thread Taggon is. There's still time to vote, by the way things are going over there. This would be an over-time thing however. But I can try my best to make sure and communicate to others to put the petal to the metal if need be, should the majority of the votes go to 'yes'. That's all.))

Stages For creating Laser (A great amount of the credit, if not all, goes to @medicsplashbug )
The construction of a giant device-canon (let's call it, the weapon 'X') that would be capable of destroying plots of land at a time would be looked into, only more small and controllable (and frankly affordable) versions would be constructed in order to test things out, and these smaller versions of a super laser would be tested on different sections of earth, or on Asteroids. Results would be what the Decepticons desire of course.
Once the prototype for weapon X is confirmed, now the Decepticon engineers will try to make the blueprints of the weapon X. But before to be able to build something of biblical dimensions, the decepticons have to go to get all resources necessary to the giant weapons. This would involve the cons stealing and mining around the world at the same time they would try to install some devices that would work synchronously with the main weapon. This would the phase 2
The final phase of construction of this super-laser would be worked over, the power of Backbeat's cyber key eventually being used to activate and act as a power source for said super-laser. Creating sort of a space-station for the weapon, which orbits around Earth. The weapon is activated, the gravity around the weapon would be affected by the weapon system, or another stuff better than that.
