Morty snickered slightly as he picked up his brief case and opened it up. Inisde, where six black and white Pokéballs. He selected three and placed two on his waist, sending out his Hydreigon first - it exploded onto the battlefield in a purple light. "Bring it on big guy!" the well dressed Morty taunted [aptly]. "I have this show on lockdown!"

Ethan, while intimidated by Hydregion, Heliolisk used Parabolic Charge on Hydregion, shocking it.

Morty smiled as the Hydreigon absorbed the brunt of the attack - the decreased effectiveness making the attack laughable. The main had grimaced and eyed the Heliolisk evily. "Rage... use Earthquake!" Morty commanded, sending out a hand as Rage's main head smiled. The 3 heads curled in, and the 6 wings clasped against his side, before lashing outwards like whips - the ground all around him exploding into large fissures or rock; debris flew everywhere and large rocks jutted out of the ground.

Heliolisk took the brunt of the attack, falling to the ground-type move. Ethan recalled Heliolisk and sent out Greninja. Ethan: Ice Beam! Greninja put his one arm up and the other at his chest and shot a beam of ice at Hydregion.

"Surf!" Morty called as Greninga lifted it's arm up. Rage roared as a wave of water erupted from beneath him and was sent forward. The beam hit the wave directly, freezing and shattering it, continuing on to hit the unsuspecting Hydreigon square in the chest. It was a weakened hit due to the water barrier, but frost could be seen on Rage's skin and fury was deep in his eyes. "You're strong Rage, I know you can recover!" Morty called.

"Flash Cannon!" Morty called, pointing to the impending ice beam. A flash of grey light erupted from the three jaws of Rage, a thick beam colliding with the opposing force. It exploded into a bright silvery-blue light as snow-flakes spread across the battlefield. "Now, dragon pulse!" The purple, red and green beams launched forwards from the Hydreigon and directly towards Greninja.

Slate watched from the trainer's section drinking an ice cold lemonade. He flips through his pokedex, looking at the pokemon battling.

Feenixfire walked in, followed by her Blaziken Burnout. She was drinking spring water as her Burny munched on pokeblocks. Walks up to the viewing area and looks down at the fight.
Burny sounded its cry a few times.
"Easy Burnout, you'll be fighting soon."

*Entering behind Feenixfire was Ray Orlatta, his Mightyena next to him, it begun barking at Burnout.*
Easy there, Mightyena. The fire we need is during the battle not before buddy.
*Mightyena eased up, becoming docile and happy again, woofing.*

Yup, I had Mightyena here ever since he was a baby Poochyena. He was my family's Pokemon, we became fond of each other before I became a trainer, it was a no brainier who my first partner'd be.

Drake looked on the battle with Sceptile and Greninja. "They're both good, but not as good as you two." said Drake, smirking.

*Burnout hissed and cried out at the Mightyena to scare it off. Feenix rolled her eyes and says.*
"Don't ruffle any feathers Burnout. And yes, this is Burnout, I rescued him when he was a torchic from a bunch of Mudkips."

I've been travelling with my pokemon from Johto to Sinnoh, even as far as Kalos, I've picked six of the best pokemon who've accompanied me, but it wouldn't be complete without my Nidoking.
Slate looks to the battlefield.
When I heard someone was setting up a tournament, I had to come along and check it out. Already I can see people care deeply about their pokemon and thats what makes them stronger.

*Mightyena looked at Burnout, not even daring to be goaded into a response, he turned back to Ray as his trainer explained more about him, he nudges Ray a couple of times. Ray ruffled his hair, showing the bond between them two.*

[btw trainer card is here: Caught off guard as he recovered from the small recoil of the dragon pulse, rage was flung backwards by the two massive attacks and landed by Morty's feet. He leant down and petted the groaning beast on its centre head. "I'm sorry, you did your best." He called it back into the Pokéball as and placed it on his belt, skilfully swapping for another. He pointed it forward, stout and professional. "Loco, take the field!" The aggressive Mightyena appeared on the rugged field and stared down the Greninja. "Let's finish this... Play Rough!" Loco launched himself forwards towards the vulnerable dark type, teeth and claws bared with a faint pink glow emanating around them.
