Myself, Ty (aka Soundwave) and Road Rage, have been discussing a plot that brings in KSI (Kinetic Solutions Incorporated) and MECH (Militant Engineered Cybernetic Hardware), and involving them in a plot reminiscent of the one in "Age Of Extinction."
KSI is based in both Chicago and Hong Kong. The MECH headquarters are somewhere more discreet, somewhere in Texas.
The problem with the plot when in "Age Of Extinction," was that it heavily involved Transformium, a metal of whose primary properties seemed to involve transforming people into complete retards. This metal will NOT be present, just as the plot of recreating Galvatron (at least successfully...) will NOT be present, since Galvatron is not a Canon that is permitted to be played.
KSI and MECH will be merged - KSI produces consumer goods, while MECH supplies the military side of things. MECH additionally heads Operation: Cemetery Wind.
And just as in Age Of Extinction, they wish to use Cybertronian technology to, frankly, fill their wallets and become the most powerful technologies industries on the planet.
Under the name of Operation: Cemetery Wind, MECH will have been dragging in the corpses of Cybertronians to dissect and reverse engineer into weapons, and then consumer goods - stereo-systems, smarter computers, car/valet combos, and so on. But they also need live subjects, and intelligent Cybertronians who will explain things to them. But let's face it, Cybertronians aren't going to be happy about helping greedy humans to create mindless robot slaves. Even if they did, they'd want to be paid.
So, they'll be CAPTURING them. Holding them prisoner, a la they did with Brains in the movie. If they have to, they'll torture (YAY TORTURE!!!) them into assisting them. Because after all, they're only robots. How did they get their initial information for who to capture? That's easy - they bought it from their sources in the government, who got it from Autobots - for more altruistic purposes, of course.
Worst of all, initially the Autobots/Decepticons won't even know it's a company kidnapping each other. They'll assume it's those lying Decepticon/Autobot scum. So, don't Meta-game.
The longer the plot goes on, the greater the potential for sentience in the new creations.
While we have our first volunteer for capture (me) we will certainly do well to have more. Preferably weaker, smarter characters, but they aren't picky - just as they aren't picky on which faction you are. Just as importantly, we'll need human employees. Random employees - scientists and soldiers for example - are welcome, and the ranks are wide open. However the Canon employees from AoE and Prime would be very, VERY useful. While their role in the organisations have been edited slightly, the traditional rules for playing Canons apply - Use it or lose it. As does the rules that we can't kill you unless you want to die.
Joshua Joyce - CEO of Kinetic Solutions Incorporated
Su Yueming - CEO of Kinetic Solutions Incorporated (Chinese Division)
Darcy Tirrel - Assistant of Joshua Joyce
Gill Wembley - Head Technician of KSI (Taken)
Harold Attinger - CEO of MECH
James Savoy - Major Player in Operation Cemetery Wind
Silas - Go-Between regarding Operation Cemetery Wind and MECH. Responsible for 'domesticating' captured Cybertronians.
You can also be your own human, scientist, soldier (any rank is open) and potentially set up your own sneaky plot, torture Cybertronians, all that kind of thing.
Come on, you're gonna get to treat me like crap! How much more fun could it be?!
