Silvershot still wasn't convinced by his reassurance. The thought was just killing her from the inside of her thoughts. It can still happen. Even if one of them is hanging over the cliff while the other is holding onto them, the one dangling will still fall. Her head was still hanging down even if he was still soothing her with his own thumb.
"Promise me that. Even if we do indeed merge sparks, promise me that you will, if you will", she replied without even looking up at him. After a while, she did look up a little as if she was shy. "Slow down", she finally said it, softly, before one of her servos touched his torso with the palm of her hand.

She was still a little torn up about he he’d been gone. It was obvious. Airwatcher mentally cursed at himself for not telling her he had left her when he’d gone out spying for the Avacons. She’d told him before she’d mourned for his return, and that she’d been in bad pain. It was sort of sad. Every time he had met her as Airwatcher or Vaqus, she had seemed grimmer or sadder. His absence had really done some damage hadn’t it? He’d known it would, had grimaced at the prospect, but it seemed that Silvershot just couldn’t get over it.
Historically, not cool.
Airwatcher tilted his helm to the left ever so slightly, “I promise I’ll slow down for you Silvershot—just as I will now.” Airwatcher replied in a growing low pitch, his shoulders even sagging slightly to show he was relaxing a bit. Yeah, he worked and did a ton of stuff to his maximum capacity. Now—as Silvershot quietly asked him to do her this favor of ‘slowing down’, Airwatcher would keep to his word. He switched his HUD off for a moment, so that he would not have any transmissions or alarms that usually interrupted their sparsely spread moments. His promise would be something he knew he’d maybe regret, but if it was for Silvershot, he figured it was worth regretting. He would always be serious about one thing if she needed him to be. She just had to ask.

The silver seekeress slowly looked up at him after she heard him. Seeing him turn off his HUD, she did the same. She was done from interruptions; it was for real this time. "Will you ask me?", she suddenly said as she kept her palm on his torso. She wasn't moving it, but she kept it there so she could feel the pulse of his spark. She liked it better if he asked her. It was the mech's responsibility to ask a femme, not the other way around.
Her face got a little closer to his own when she did ask him that question. This action was seductive since she only stopped an inch from him. It was very, very amusing to Silvershot when she went at him like this. It kept her happy, but can he fulfill it?

Air watcher's smile had subsided to a smaller one even as he had told her his serious answers, it had been their as an affectionate and supportive yet small smile, something Airwatcher had managed to keep to even the least extents. He would give his flirtatious girl bride-to-be a thoughtful glimmer of his optics as he tilted his helm back into an upright position. He knew that despite their little word-games, despite her constant endeavors to be alluring to him, she only did it because she wanted him. As for him--well, he was her sarcastic seeker who would just try as hard as he could to be there when he could manage to do so. Airwatcher had long since considered when he would ask Silvershot the question she asked him to. Airwatcher knew they loved each other, but still he would ask himself if Silvershot was the one. It was a question easily answered, nonetheless, the second of quiet pause had been done.
Airwatcher would slowly slide down, letting one of his legs bend into a ninety degree angle, as he would come to a kneel. Gazing up into Silvershot's optics, as he still held one of her servos gently.
"Silvershot, We've been through countless adventures together, we've saved each other, and become close comrades. We've come together again, and now--I would like to ask you if you would be my Spark-mate." Airwatcher told her, though even in his statement, it was more of a question.

Gateway was headed to the communications center when he crossed the medbay. Looking into the room he shook his hed, and immediately kept his path to the place he was needed. The Avacons were in peril and those two were fiddling around, even if Airwatcher was harmed that was no reason for Silver to get all close to him. As he finally reached the comm hub, he sent a ping to a location far far away, in deep space. Avernus, technician Gateway is reporting for our regular mission update. There has been severe issues recently, and the mission may be in danger of failure. From what I have noted, I am the only one capable of giving a proper report, as Commander Thrasher... he hasn't exactly been at his best most recently, I fear the worst for him. The vehicon kept his posture and looked as appropriate as possible, if anything he did not want to be received poorly by the superior officer. This was already something he'd rather not tell Avernus, but everything counts. Maybe if Gateway made sure he looked all right, then it wouldn't seem so awful to the leader.

Silvershot was still being on the edge of trying to reach for his spark when they were just pure comrades, until her feelings for him got caught up. The mech did try to make her focus on her role in the war, but Sil' was the one who started seducing him. One could even describe their relationship as him playing the innocent, with her being the femme fatale. Not that it bothered her too much, but she did, in honesty, twist his view towards her.
What she was seeing right now, was right where she wanted him to be. The seekeress couldn't help but give a grin when he said to her. Her spark began to flutter and almost did a backflip in admiration. She nodded frantically with tears of joy building in her optics, but they didn't fall. Silvershot wrapped her arms around his neck before one of her servos traced his cheek plate while gazing into his lime-green optics.

Their relationship was one of odd turns, though in the end, both were usually clear with each other, the way Airwatcher saw it. After he proposed to her, she nodded a 'Yes' before embracing him whole-hearedly, coolant welling in her optics. Airwatcher had only ever seen her emotional once in a blue moon. Silvershot was a femme who had herself under a good grip, despite some of her more questionable attributes, to Airwatcher, in some ways, her flirtatious behavior with him was the equivalent of a tease, and contributed to who she was.
Airwatcher then slowly tilted his helm forward, before his mouth piece gently met hers, giving her a kiss as he held her in his embrace. The seeker would slowly rise upward so he was standing once more. His optics relaxed their lively glow for a moment. He couldn't help but slightly revel at how such a jewel had fancied him, and how he'd fancied her back.
