ShadowZone accepted the given coils of cable with a nod. If Thunder proved to be insufferable, he would be bound and dragged to the nearest holding cell and then Sky could decide what to do with him. He ignored his comment as well and indicated the opposite direction to where any of the nearest exists were.
"We are going there. Behave." Curt and to the point, with the coil of cables clearly visible. While the guns on his arms may have no longer been pointing at Thunder, the machine gun remained pointed at him for the time being. If the bot decided to be sensible, the one would also stand down and back.
"Requesting temporary escort." This again was addressed to Rangefinder, even if his optics remained on the unruly car frame. It was not because he expected not to be able to handle the bot though.

"No need, I'll cooperate." Thunder replied, "I'm restrained and unable to fight unless its with my feet. I'll be no trouble unless I'm provoked." He looked up at SZ with a serious, sincere look, "I promise."

Rangefinder redrew his rifles and held them in a ready position. He didn't really care for the 'Bot's taunt, it mean't nothing to him anyways. If he wanted to do dirty things, he'd have had his way with the entire base by now. He nodded to Shadowzone.
"Gladly Shades. He seems like he doesn't really want to be friendly with anyone anyways. Now ehat's a good nickname for Thunder..."

".....Brat?" For someone with no humour that suggestion almost sounded like he had one or perhaps it was a mere evaluation of the younger and misbehaving car frame and a conclusion that such a name fit well.
"Walk." He told Thunder while motioning for them to start by leaving the current residence for somewhere less likely to lead to the outside world. He might have been a flier, keen on being outside himself, but orders that came from Sky topped everything.
"Shades?" He seemed to pause at what he assumed was the nickname for himself and then nodded. It wasn't bad.
(where we are going I've no idea but as long as it's further into the base and away from exists, it should be fine)

At first a very subtle humming would be heard with one of his fists clenched, but it would die down as he relaxed. And forward he went. Hostility would get him nowhere. Rangefinder was a prick, nothing could be done there. His powers, as he boasted about them, reminded him of his colleague Axel from his universe. However SZ, it was obvious to him he had been stripped of his emotions and most likely his memory.
"So we're in an Ark ship right? The designs lends itself to the interior of a star class ship and less of a base." Thunder would ask, wanting to know as much about his home--no...his prison as he could.

Rangefinder laughed at Shades's comment about how Thunder should be named Brat.
"I like it! That name is perfect. You know Shades? I really like you, we should blast some 'Cons together."
He then turned to Brat.
"No clue. I never bothered asking what High Grand is, other than a base in a mountain."

"Decepticons know where we are, don't they?" Thunder asked, then chuckled to himself, shaking his helm, "Of course they do. It makes sense why even a camera or a door is vital to you guys. You don't have any way of fighting them. From my short couple of hours here I can tell you don't have much fighting strength. Most of you guys are medics and non-combatants. The ones who fight are loyal, or they're sociopaths, bound together under the Wisdom of the Matrix, right?"

Rangefinder just stared at Brat, clearly debating whether or not to tear this afthole's optics out now, or later.
"Do you really think we always had this few combatants?"
He gave Thunder enough time to answer, if he didn't that was his choice.
"Well, congrats afthole. They're dead, they're mostly dead because I couldn't provide a good enough distraction. We lost ninety percent of our armies in one nuclear blast because we couldn't get in, steal an engine, then get out in time. My distraction wasn't enough and didn't offer the adequate time necessary for them to complete their task."
He then turned his back on Thunder, now appearing very glum, rather than his usual happy-go-lucky attitude.

Thunder looked to the side some as they kept walking, his tone becoming more serious and a tad sympathetic, "I'm sorry to hear that. I've lost more than my fair share of friends before. Hell I lost a lot of people before I got here. A lot of good Autobots, neutrals, even Decepticons who were helping us in our fight." He took a moment to reminisce, "My condolences. I'm sure they were all great heroes. And even better friends."

Rangefinder wasn't through yet, he turned back to Thunder and walked up to him, angrily. Pushing the small Mech back with his finger with every word.
"You might have lost some friends and allies, but take into account that this was multiple armies. On top of the Unicron damned battlefield that was Cybertron. There aren't many Autobotd left anymore and when anyone comes up, we're cautious. No one ever wants to join the losing side. Those 'Cons control Moscow and they'rw probably on their way here right now, but our combat powrr consists of non-combat personel, a few fliers, a drill-sergeant, the Prime, and me. And I'm a transport who jst knows how to fight very well. We're all on death's row here and the only thing keeping us sane is trust, loyalty, a tad bit of craziness, and our will to live. Which I can assure you, is pretty damn high."
With that, he finally backed off.

"With all due respect, Rangefinder..." Thunder looked back at him, "If that's what's you have to throw against them, then you'll need me there too. I don't wanna die, not here, especially after I literally fought through the Devil and back just so I can see my friends again." He looked determined, fists clenched and optics lit up, "I will not die here on this Earth, and if you and I are supposed to be follow Autobots, I sure as hell won't let you die either."

Rangefinder smirked a little as they continued on. He knew they needed all the help they could get.
"Good... Though that promise doesn't mean scrap until where on the battlefield. I hope I can count on you when it counts. Just... Don't be too overly pissed that we're making you do so much scrap to earn a place in the ranks here."
He now sounded a lot better than before.

"I had to go through worse back home. Least you see me as a person. That's already a step up. I mean, besides the bondage. That's a third-date discussion type of deal." He chuckled, "I never had a respect for the Matrix until I watched someone it give myself and one Autobot I looked up to something we all needed. Something you guys desperately need, something that your Prime hasn't been able to bring out yet."

(...next time. WAIT unless told you can skip the other player. Because right now the only reason why SZ is still in the room is the fact he was ordered to babysit Thunder...Since apparently he is a wall decoration according to this.)
"Affirmative." RangeFinder was of the flier type frame, it would have only been logical that the two would find themselves fighting along each other rather than having to deal with someone who could not lift off the ground. He would obviously have said more, but it seemed that his input in the matter did not matter at all or whatever.
It was just as obvious that Decepticons did not know where the base was. It would have been quite stupid of them otherwise, not to have attacked the base already. They were stronger, had greater numbers and all that stuff. Which still did not mean Autobots had nothing. SZ would have actually said something on the matter had he a chance... but eh. Who were the non-combantants? Even the medics could fight to some extent. These were military ones, and they were perhaps not offensive fighters, but they would protect themselves.
"The mission was successful. Engines were obtained. Your observations are poor and evaluation flawed. There are fewer Autobot drones, but we are not without capable fighters, that unlike you, can be trusted. You have proven yourself to be far from trustworthy so far. Don't loose breath with 'speeches of grandeur' when you are incapable of backing them up, tiny frame." All spoken to Thunder though probably ignored.
He turned from them, ready to leave. His machine gun would swivel to reobtain a lock on Thunder. He couldn't just say a few nice words and be forgiven because, they were all one big happy family all of a sudden. The only reason why ShadowZone was not gone right now was because Prime ordered him to babysit Thunder, or something.

Rangefinder had nothing more to say and just shrugged. He only really knew the numbers lost, other than that, they were mostly successful.
"The casualtied were too high. We were successful, but success only depends on if he still have the manpower to continue fighting. Which we don't have if they just drop everything on us.

"Then you need to prepare. No human tech means you're not good with them in this timeline." He analyzed and kept walking, "If they have drones and vehicons then I would suggest a minefield outside the canyon and several EMP fields set up near the outer perimeter. Enough to neutralize the drones on foot or who get close and maim or take out the others who try to break in."

"Mission is successful when the objective has been achieved." ShadowZone indicated the entrance from where they came. They could head into the halls of the base and perhaps find Thunder his new accommodation. Did the new arrival think that the bots had been forged a day ago? He also had not even stepped outside, nor learned anything about whether there was any cooperation whatsoever with humans only to make a broad sweep and believe there was none. "We have drones, they have vehicons." He added simply.
If they left traps to be triggered on approach stupid humans would be the first to trigger them, and then the cons would know where they should begin their search, but he was not one to tell Thunder that. "Sacrifice is sometimes necessary, Rangefinder, even if the loss is unpleasant."

Rangefinder shook his head to Shadowzone. He was fine with casualties, but not at that scale. At that point, he has to wonder if it was even worth it.
"Guess it's just perspective...
He then turned to Thunder, shaking his head again.
"We would if not for the risk of human casualties and that they'd probably fly them in."

"Right, just spit balling. And if they control the entirety of Moscow, no wonder the Earth Military hasn't dropped a nuke on them if they could." Thunder then would think. They wouldn't let him fight, nor would he just let them all get slaughtered.

The leader of the autobots appeared in the doorway to the hangar bay, accompanied by two protectobots who he told to follow him. Well in the hangar, five dropships were waiting for deployment. One of them were filled with explosives, just in case it was needed, one was empty while the remaining three held ten protectobots each. All of them held energy shields, just to be extra protected. The bots all gave sky a salute as he passed by, entering the empty dropship along with his escorting bots while the rest of the bots made themselves ready for departure. Sky did feel a wave of weird emotions for a split second, but couldn't figure out what the heck that meant. It just felt.. odd. No time to worry about that though, they were about to take off.
:: OKay team. Our mission is to go to a desolate place in the middle of nowhere, a huge desert. A group of our soldiers went missing a while ago and have not reported back. I want to find bring survivors back and if they are all dead, see why they are dead. If we see cons, shoot them. Lethal rounds. Understood? Good, Skirp, initiate tactical jumping. ::
The hangar doors opened and the five ships slowly made their way out, forming into a diamond formation. They hovered there for a brief moment before the engines began to light up, then the front ship vanished in a streak of green, same with the two ships on the sides. The middle ship followed and so did the one in the back. Now the ships were gone, on their way to the desert. The hangar doors closed and everything returned to normal again.
