"And it is rude that you paint on the walls without her permission," Aerojet exasperatedly said, "And I think the red colour would stimulate the optics and make the patients uncomfortable."
Although his pedes are covered with paints, that was least of his concerns. Now he was really afraid that the doctor would go crazy when she found out this. And hopefully little Scaag would still be in one piece in that case.
He tried to pick up Scaag, and said to him firmly, "You shouldn't do this in others' place. You can paint, as long as it does not interfere with the others. This is not the case."

Painting is fun though. And it becomes pretty. That's good enough for me.
That anyone might disagree with him was nothing that he thought about in that moment. He also got slightly annoyed when he got picked up and he took his paintbrush and started painting Aerojet before wedging his way out of the grip and onto tgs wall which he climbed up on.

Just before Scaag painted on him, Aerojet deployed his face mask and his visor, preventing the paint from getting into his optics or ventway. Watching Scaag climbed the wall, Aerojet sighed.
"It's neither appropriate nor polite, and that's not good enough for the others." Aerojet said sternly, a tone he used rarely, "You also have to consider the others."
Softening a bit, he didn't wanted to be too harsh on Scaag, he said, "Scaag, please stop painting on the wall."

No! I'll paint this room! You can't stop me!
He continued painting the wall from his position on the wall. Force was pretty much the only option to make him stop. Thankfully he was out of range of anyone in the medbay.

There has to be another way... Aerojet thought silently. With his two engines on the back, he was pretty sure he can reach Scaag and catch him with his servo. but he didn't want to stop Scaag by force. He hated to use force to stop other mechs.
Besides, even if he wanted to do that, with Dodge present, he couldn't as this might provoke his breakdown again.
He just sat down on a unpainted bench near a wall... With Scaag being in this state, perhaps he shouldn't stop him at the moment, as that may agitate him further. He hoped he could calm down or became tired. Energy reserve of small mechs usually weren't very big, though Scaag may be an exception. But as he was running all over the Non-Emergency Ward, he might feel tired after some time.
He rested his helm on the wall as he leant against it. Hopefully this little mech would stop and realise that he shouldn't be doing that.

Unforunately for Aerojet, Scaag wasn't going to be tired anytime soon. He never got tired when he did something but afterwards.... Then he was very, very tired. Two walls and the floor had now been painted and Scaag set to work on the third wall with as much energy as before. The thought that the doctor might be very upset when she would see this didn't occur to him and he happily painted on. This walll should be covered in random lines and such in different colors to confuse everyone who looked at it as much as possible.

While Scaag was painting all over the Non-Emergency Ward, Aerojet wouldn’t just sit there and do nothing. With his visor deployed, he began to use his scanners to examine the composition of Scaag’s paint. The results of the rough analysis was shown on his HUD, stating that it was made of pigments suspended in water-soluble vehicle. Aerojet was relieved when he saw the result. While the rough analyses weren’t always correct, they usually were. That meant the paint should be able to be washed away simply by water.
Aerojet would be quite amused if he wasn’t a bit angry with Scaag now. He did wonder how a two-foot-tall mech was able to carry such a large amount of paint. The room is quite big, even in the standard of average Cybertronian size. And the two walls plus the floor would be extremely huge for Scaag.
Actually Scaag made a good first impression to Aero, albeit he had really scared him during the “medical equipment” incident. Aero thought that Scaag was a funny guy who liked to play pranks but meant no harm. But painting all over a room in the medbay, even if it’s just a Non-Emergency Ward, was unacceptable for him.
Being born into a family which had a doctor as his mother, he was taught that medical facilities all are important places where patients are healed and lives are saved. He personally agree this, and wouldn’t allow things to obstruct the function of the facilities. The painting might cause anxiety in patients, and might potentially cause contamination of medical equipment.
“Scaag, I don’t care if you are painting in anywhere else. But this is the Medbay, and what you’re doing could hinder the work in here. I want you to stop now. Or else I would have to stop you by force,” Aerojet said.

Dodge, Gunstorm, and I sat on the bed, watching the little mech paint away. I started giggling because even though he wasn't supposed to be painting everything, he was quite the little artist. Seeing Scaag paint poor Bo's pedes bright red made me lose it. I flopped back on the bed, crying from laughing so hard.
"Bo-your-HAHAHAHHA-your pedes are bright red!" I chortled gleefully, taking out my phone and taking a picture of the sight.
The two on either side of me had wisely moved their stabilizing servos up on to the bed so they were now sitting Indian style. Dodge quietly removed the grill that made up part of his chest armor and was painting it with some chrome paint he carried with him. Pausing in his work, he looked up and saw that there was a small argument going on between Scaag and Aerojet. Small arguments no longer set him off and having both JML and Gunstorm there helped a lot, so he just shook his helm.
"Scaag, I believe Aerojet's right. You should stop painting in here. I'll have to say - you're pretty good at painting. You have talent, but you shouldn't use it to cause trouble. Perhaps I could talk with Chiro about letting you paint a big mural on the walls in the Lobby. Would you like that?" He smiled at the little mech who was clinging to the wall.
Watching Scaag paint had made Gunstorm want to start painting. She had picked up the abandoned scrap metal piece and set it in her lap, pulling her favorite paint set from subspace. Currently, she was painting the city of Iacon from memory. Every now and then she paused, her optics dimming slightly as she played back memory files to help her with the painting.
I got curious, and looked at Gunstorm's painting. "Wow, that's really good. Is that Iacon from Cybertron?" I asked, having recognized the scene from the pictures Dodge had shown me.
"Thank you, and yes it is." Gunstorm smiled. "How did you know it was Iacon?"
"Dodge has told me a lot about it, even showed me pictures of what it looked like before the war ruined it. Is that where you're originally from?"
"Not exactly," Gunstorm put her paintbrush down to let the paint she had applied dry. "I used to be a human, much like yourself. My hometown is Dallas, Texas."
"Wow... Wait, Dallas?" I asked in wonder. Gunstorm nodded. "I live pretty close to that area. How about that? Three of us are from Texas..."
"Four actually. I used to live with Gunny," Bo piped up.
"Well, my day just got better! 4 Texans in this room, who knew?" I laughed, shaking my head in amusement. "Now, we have a problem. Scaag has pretty much painted the entire room, and I hope that paint is washable..."
Dodge had been analyzing the paint on the walls and floor for just that reason. "It's washable - nothing water and soap can't get rid of."
"Let's try to clean it up before Chiro gets back, otherwise she's going to be mad at all of us for not keeping an close optic on Scaag." Gunstorm put all of her paints and the metal piece away, and carefully got up. She walked over to the sink, picking up a bucket and sponge. Setting the bucket in the sink, she filled it with water and added soap.

By this time, Scaag had already finished painting the walls and the roof and the floor in pretty colors. Now he clung to the ceiling and watched the bots underneath him as he giggled. They threatened him with using force but that was no biggy, he could always turn into his grenade form and stay safe. But then he caught a look of something horrifying: Water. They would try and wash away his beautiful painting! He couldn't allow it and he jumped down onto Gunny and down to her side. Then he put a small plug into the sink so that water wouldn't comr as he grabbed the bucket of water, jumped down on the floor with it and ran. The bucket was almost his size which made it hard to run but he couldn't let them have the water.

Gunstorm flinched in surprise as Scaag landed on her, and then looked in the direction he had gone in annoyance. She wasn't happy that the little mech had grabbed the bucket of water and ran off with it.
"Oh, you little..." she grumbled, her audial fins moving back so they were almost pinned flat against her hat. Her next few words would have been particularly crude if she had not stopped herself. Venting sharply, she turned to the cabinets and found another bucket. She set the bucket down in the sink and tried to turn on the water. Nothing came out of the tap.
"What the hell?" Looking to see what was wrong, Gunstorm inspected the tap. Finding the plug, she turned the flow off and yanked the plug out.
Now she was mad. Her audial fins went flat against her hat, and she had a scowl on her faceplates. Instead of moving in her usual relaxed manner, she was more like a cat stalking its prey. She turned on the tap, and glided across the floor silently to the trash can. It was a scary sight to see the usually cheerful femme move the way she did.
I shuffled closer to Dodge, fully aware of Gunstorm's state. He felt me move, and picked me up, putting me on his shoulder.
He and Bo both stayed silent, not wanting to suffer Gunstorm's wrath. Dodge had seen Gunstorm this mad before and knew that if she was silent, it meant she was fixing to give someone a major chewing-out.

He had disposed of the water on a safe place where it couldn't bring harm to his pretty paintings and now he fame back to the room. Something was wrong with Gunny but he didn't see that as the most important thing right now. He could see that she had removed the plug which made him slightly annoyed. Could they never leave his stuff alone? He rushed over to the sink again and climbed up so that he could place another plug in the hole. This time he pushed it as far in as his tiny limbs let him before jumping down with a huge grin on his face. Then he transformed into his grenade mode and rolled around on the floor, spreading some more paint on the already colorful floor. He didn't know that someone was really mad at him right now...

Gunstorm saw that Scaag had plugged up the sink again. Without saying a single word, she picked up the little grenade rolling around on the floor. He had paint on him, but she couldn't care any less. She was dangerously close to pulling out one of her guns. Her optics were narrowed, and were slowly turning a maroon color.

Scaag giggled a little as he was picked up. He used the little screen on his side as a window as he looked at Gunny. She seemed a little upset.
Don't you like the colors? Maybe you are one of those who like dark colors.... Dark colors are scary, i don't like them.

"It's not about the colors." Gunstorm icily said. "You're making it very difficult for me to clean up. Plus, plugging up the sink could have caused it to explode and flood the room!"
Dodge had turned his audio receptors off so he wouldn't have another attack. I was sitting on his shoulder, pressed up against his helm. Gunstorm's tone had really unnerved me. Looking down at the armor piece Dodge was working on, I noticed that he had finished painting the chrome on. I tapped gently on the metal next to me. He looked at me with an expression that said 'What is it?'.
"Do you want me to paint the letters?" I signed, my hands not making a sound. I had a family friend who was deaf, and I had learnt sign language so I could communicate with my friend. One day, I was signing to a song when Dodge asked me to teach him. We would spend many hours chatting in sign only, and still did that from time to time.
"Sure." Dodge signed back. He gently removed me from his shoulder and set me down in his lap. Seeing a small can of flat black paint and a human-sized paintbrush, I grabbed the two items. I coated the brush with some paint and started to carefully outline each letter while Dodge held the metal perfectly still. Bo got curious, and walked over to watch me work.

It is clean, just colorful. And if it had exploded, we would have had a swimmingpool! That would be cool. Can't we just blow it up?
He asked happily as he had failed to notice that she was really mad at him.

Scaag had interrupted Gunstorm, and she didn't like that at all.
"No, and we are not going to blow anything up!" She snarled. How could the little mech even suggest the idea of blowing the Med Bay up?!? That had been the wrong thing to say to the maroon femme.
A loud snap cracked through the air, followed by a screech of metal scraping on metal. Gunstorm's left servo transformed into her turbocharged Energon Ion Fusion cannon, breaking the transformation lock in the process. The intense pain from the now-broken transformation lock went unnoticed by Gunstorm; her anger had caused her processor to turn the pain receptors way down. Her cannon was now whirring lowly, a shot already charging.
"Now, you listen very carefully," she growled. Her tone was so menacing that it would have made Megatron himself shut up. "You will behave, and not bother us while we clean up your mess. Your painting has caused delay in the treatment of other patients. Some of them are critical, meaning they could die if not treated right away. Do you want to be responsible for causing delay in treatment, possibly causing someone to die?"
I had been painting when I heard something crack, causing me to jump and almost spill the paint on myself and Dodge. Looking up, I was shocked to see a cannon instead of a maroon foreservo, and it was already glowing. I could practically feel the anger radiating from the enraged femme. All I could do was watch as the scene unfolded in front of me.
Dodge had seen me look up, and looked up himself. He saw that Gunstorm had her cannon out, and was worried that she would start shooting. Now that was something Chiro would certainly be upset over.
To be safe, he picked me up and walked out of the room. The room next door was empty, and it was still in the same Ward.
The atmosphere was very tense, and so thick it could have been cut with a butter knife. Energon and other fluids started to drip from Gunstorm's cannon, indicating that she had injured herself even more.

"That was scary, being in there with Gunny like that..." I shuddered, glad to be out of that room.
Dodge nodded in agreement, having turned his audio receptors back on. "I was worried that she would have started shooting. I didn't want you getting hit on accident." Dodge sat down on a bed along a wall.
"Oh, that would have been bad. I just hope she calms down before she puts holes in the walls. Doctor Chiro will pitch a fit if that happens." Sitting down again, I took several deep, calming breaths so I didn't mess up the letters on Dodge's armor piece.
"Me too. I've seen her this mad before, but it's something that doesn't happen often." He leaned back against the wall, crossing his servos.
"I suppose it's a good thing it doesn't happen often." I started painting the letters again, first going along the edges then filling in the rest. "How are you feeling now that you got medical attention?"
"Much better, just a little sore but nothing major." Pulling out a data pad from subspace, he turned it on and started reading the news. He was glad he had left the other room, he didn't like arguments even though the attacks were less severe these days. Having skimmed through the headlines and not seeing anything of importance, he put the data pad away and started looking for a different one. He pulled out a larger data pad and a stylus.
I smiled at him, relieved that he was alright. It didn't take me long to finish the letters. Seeing him pull out his drawing pad and stylus, I became curious as to what he was going to draw now.
"What are you going to draw?"
"The skyline of Crystal City." Turning on the data pad, he started to sketch.
"Ah, your home city state. Do you know if it's still standing?"
"No... it got destroyed in the Great War. I was very young when it got destroyed, around 3 in your years. My parents and I fled to Iacon. I am one of the very few survivors of Crystal City. Nearly everyone was killed... The Decepticons were ruthless in their attack." He had a somber expression on his faceplates.
"I'm sorry to hear... It must have been so pretty."
Dodge smiled softly at me. "It was... I don't remember a lot of the city, but it was beautiful. I hope it can be restored, perhaps to its full glory."
I paused for a moment, thinking about my question. It was going to be a hard one to ask, but I really wanted to know. "If it does get restored, will you go back to Cybertron for good?"
The stylus stopped moving on the data pad. He hadn't thought about that much, and the sudden question had surprised him a little. Do I really want to go back to Crystal City, to Cybertron? Sure, he would go home if given the chance, but he knew that it wouldn't be the same.
"I..." Dodge started, and then paused a moment, making sure that he truly felt the way that he did. Nodding to himself slightly, he resumed speaking. "If I could go back to a revived Cybertron, I would. However, it wouldn't feel like home. Everything would be brand-new, and nothing would be familiar to me. I've already found a home - here on Earth with you. If I left you behind, I don't know how I would be able to keep going with my life. I would rather spend the rest of my days on Earth rather than Cybertron."
"You... you'd rather stay here on Earth with me?" I was floored.
He nodded. I ran up and hugged his foreservo, the closest I could get to a real hug. It was right there and then that I knew just how much he cared about me as a Guardian.
Just then, we both heard something going on. "I'll go see what's going on. Be right back." Picking up the now-dry armor piece, he climbed off the bed. After he had put the armor back on, he left the room and headed to the Repair Room.

There are no other patients here. And it's not a mess, it's art. And if it is that important to save lifes, why don't you do that instead of cleaning? Or you could have said that I wasn't allowed to paint. And I'm not delaying anything. You are.
He said cheerfully once again. This was a fun conversation.

Gunstorm had enough of the little mech's smart-aleck attitude.
"Don't be a smartaft with me! Because you have painted everything in the room, it's nearly impossible to identify what tools are needed! I now have to clean up all of this paint so others can get the correct tools." She snarled, gesturing towards the wall with her left servo. The cannon was now practically roaring, the shot fully charged.
A shot rang out through the room, and a deep crater appeared on the wall. The femme had subconsciously pulled the trigger, but she couldn't care any less. She was too angry to even acknowledge she had put a hole in the wall.
"Now you will behave, stop painting, and stay out of the way while I clean up. If you don't... Her optics were now almost completely maroon; only a small blue area remained. She raised her cannon, pointing it almost directly at Scaag, not caring that she was nearly aiming at her own hand. "you will certainly regret it."

You should have removed the tools beforehand then. Your own fault for leaving them out...
He began but stopped when the gun was pointed in his general direction. It was never a good thing when a gun was pointed towards you. The small grenade buzzed and did a little flip and landed on her servo insteqd before rolling onto her shoulder by using her arm. Then he positioned himself there.
It's not nice pointing guns at people. At least not when they are smaller and defenseless.
