The upper levels have caved in after the additional assault of the missiles fired at the building. There were no explosions however, suggesting that the content that the building ought to have in abundance was either moved, gone, or has not been there since a while ago. WheelSpin had not been the only bot in the building at that time, and perhaps one or two of the autodrones, not as fortunate as those further down, or outside, were also covered under the twisted and torn metal. Heavy plating lay at various angles, in some places being supported by further rubble underneath, in others allowing no doubt as to what had happened to anything that might have been underneath.
If one wanted to find anything though, they'd have to dig, lift and remove plating, and hope for the best. Whoever attempted this though would have to be careful as the ship that had fired at the building could still pose a threat and continue with the assault on its walls. The choice had to be made, help, or wait until it was certain that it was safe enough.

The shock which Diamond sent out was heading straight towards him, but he didn't stop or flinch when it hit and passed right through him. Neither did he flinch or move as the scythe made contact with his frame.. and passed right through. Nothing she did had any effect on him, or so it seemed. The figure turned towards her, his deceptcon mask glaring back at her. "A fool you were and a fool you are, Diamond. I'm not sure who you are talking about but, although from your history, I can guess. I did not kill him. All this time, you thought you could get your revenge, adorable. You are too late to save your friends now, they made their choice. Run, little femme, you won't make it." The figure said before disapperaing into nothing, and the device speeding away as fast as it could. It had done what it was supposed to do, provide a hologram and a distraction to allow Tarn to do what he wanted.
The real Tarn had reached the building now, seeing what destruction he had caused. Not all autobots were dead, not yet. Most of them were too busy with trying to save their own that and weren't aware that he had arrived. He was much larger than they were, and he used it to his full advantage when cutting them down with his blade or just bashing them away with his shield. They were starting to fight back now, and he took some minor hits but they didn't have much of a chance against him. Now to find that decepticon signal... it was supposed to be here somewhere. He entered the destroyed building, keeping his senses on alert in case there would be traps. More blips were on the scanner, but none too close or too important. They were of no value to him.
It was at this point that the hologram turned off, and he smugly noted that it had worked as intended. He pondered if he had been to harsh on her but figured it didn't matter. Just another autobot who tried to kill him for things his predecessor had done. Oh well, things could be worse. He got closer and closer to the signal, his sword already dripping with energon from the earlier kills. His energon levels were getting lower, that was not going as planned. He would have to refuel soon.

Dia landed, her trods digging in the dust as she looked around, confused. Tarn wasn't here. He wasn't here. Her sparkmate's murderer was. Not. Here.... Outraged, she let out a shriek of pure anger and frustration to the heavens, but didn't heed the words of Tarn as they came through, and looked at the device that had begun rolling away. She let a sphere of electrical power form in her palm before throwing it at the device, hoping it exploded upon impact.
"You let me get away twice.... I don't know why you refuse to kill me, so I'll stay." She said softly, clenching her jaw so tight her helm began hurting.

Inside, the twins had found the last location of Wheelspin's blip. Backdraft began searching through the rubble while his brother watched their back.

The spot where the twins were digging and trying to remove the rubble would not show result. Whether it was because they had not yet dug deep enough, or whether it was that the ceiling could have caved in, and whatever had been underneath, came down with it, would not be known too soon but they would have to be careful moving about the destabilized grounds so as not to find themselves falling through.
There was an arm sticking out of the rubble a few feet to the left. It was hard to see who it belonged to other than, it was dark in colour, and mangled due to the pressure of metal under which its owner was buried. It did not twitch or move, so one thing was clear. The owner was either fully crushed and dead, or sent into statis lock. There was no signal coming from it, so it threatened to be the first.
Energon pooled around where it had been forced out of the body, trickling onwards without any pressure, but simply because it had been squished out. It was eerily quiet, but for the sounds of probably Tarn coming closer.
Where Tarn was, some of the Autodrones decided to be a little smarter than their dead fellows. Instead of charging the big tank, they began to fire at him from where they stood. Their aim was at his joints or faceplate, sometimes pretty much just the chassis, under which the sparkchamber ought to be. They were backing away if Tarn would approach them, trying to keep themselves partially shielded by the debris. They had sustained some damage, some minor, some a bit bigger and some none, the lucky sods.
Some of them seemed to be missing the Decepticon though, perhaps because of the damage they sustained to their helms. Their shots falling lower, at his feet, close around him.

Tarn kept advancing, his shield blocking a lot of the shots coming for him while others bounced off his armor harmlessly. Some shots did hit their intended target, but it would take some time before any serious damage would be made and by then, they would not be alive. From his left shoulder, his machinegun extended and with the help of its aim assist began firing at the surrounding autobots. The gun would tear through them like paper while he kept moving, but suddenly stopped. He noticed that they weren't all firing at him, a noticable amount of shots hit the floor. Now why would they aim there if not.. Oh, how clever they were, or rather thought they were. They were trying to make the floor give out under him!
Once he realized this, things went quickly. He threw himself at one of the walls while also transforming into his vehicle mode. The heavy vehicle hit the wall and activated the jet thrusters, giving the tank a massive speed boost. This extra speed let him smash through a wall, blasting up and off before turning off the engine, stalling and falling back down, angling so that his tank cannon faced downwards. Tarn waited a few moments before opening fire, letting the explosive shells hit the surface below, sending more rubble flying everywhere, making more of the building collapse on any surviving autobots and making the weakened floor give out.
He transformed just before he hit the ground, standing on the edge of the ruined building and looking out over the carnage caused. The decepticon signal was gone now, he had probablt perished in the blasts then. Well that made his job much easier. He felt the need for energon now, his senses were beginning to fail him. He popped out a small canister containing energon from his chest which he then injected into his arm, feeling the energy coming back to him again. He threw away the canister, he woudln't need that again. "All lives lost today, are on your hands. If you had just cooperated with my requests, this all could have been avoided. A shame." He said, sure that there was someone listening to him. Blips were still on the radar, he knew that the femme was still alive, maybe she would hear it, or a survivor from the crash. Both would do, as long as they knew what their actions had lead to.

Bounding back to the building, Diamond quickly scrambled through whatever just to get to him. She slithered silently behind him, and launched for his back, latching on in a place he couldn’t reach. She hissed and spat, snarled and scratched at his neck and head, and possibly face. She wanted to distract him enough so the others could get proper shots. Even if it meant sacrificing herself to the pain he would give her, having had samples of it before.

Leaving his brother to continue the digging, Skyflare flew through the halls to the location of the decepticon. Once in sight, Skyflare fired several rockets at Tarn, hoping they would hit their mark.
Backdraft, meanwhile, was almost hysterical. No matter where he dug, he couldn't seem to find the medic. Sure, he had seen death before, but everyone had a point where they couldn't deal with everyone else dropping around them anymore.

There was a shot. First one, without warning but for the sound that was muffled by a silencer. Its aim was for the optic of the DJD member. His location remained, at least for the moment, unknown. It could have been behind any rubble, maybe even out in the hall, coming in. Wheelspin had known the new remodelling of the building well enough, there were parts that were particularly reinforced to serve a purpose. When fighting could possibly move indoors. He'd known the weaknesses of the building, especially of the upper floors. THey were reinforced, but not as much as the lower one got. The sections where the important machinery was, had been particularly strengthened and while currently energon had been transferred they were still valuable, needed for further energon mining and purifying. The building in a way, seemed like an onion except this onion would have hardened, tougher walls the deeper one went and of course in the areas, that needed particular care to be preserved. Like a safe within a safe or perhaps like how castles were build in the human world where the upper sections had been made with smaller stones, and lower with thicker boulders. Of course here no stones were used, and the walls were much stronger.
The second shot suddenly rang out, aimed at the servo of Tarn and wherever that servo may have been. It was again the sniper rifle, that was used. The angle at which the shot came suggested that the bot had shot from a different location. Since Tarn was already being attacked by two bots, the shots were further appart, waiting for a moment when he had stopped, perhaps stilled for more than a second to fire.
Those of the autodrones that had retreated, survived. Those who had not had the chance, were now dead. Still there was no response coming from WheelSpin and still his spark signature seemed concealed.
When the ceiling had come down, WheelSpin had not succumbed to its weight or been there. He'd sped off then spent the rest of his time to locate Tarn and to get around the caved in section, to get to the DJD bot. He was not going to get too close. In that time his shield had been deactivated as well. Save power, save the use for when it would be needed, which was probably soon.

It was silent, a little bit too silent for his liking. Not everyone was dead, he knew that. He was about to turn to leave as his job was done when the first bullet hit. It hit its target, the optic of the mask. While it did not break, it shattered and cracks were formed in it, making it basically impossble to see out of, and the force from the shot knocked his helm back. That actually hurt, and Tarn grunted and raised his servo to his face to inspect the damage. It was at that moment that Diamond jumped on his back and began attacking him from behind. Now he was starting to get angry, this was not part of the plan. Her being on him wasn't good for her however, because as soon as she made contact with him it would feel like her whole frame was burning from the inside.
Now more trouble was heading his way, in form of rockets from another autobot. The first pair hit and made him stumble back a few steps before he regained composure. He was getting more and more enraged now, and another sniper shot did not help his mood in any way. It hit him in the right shoulder, making him spin slightly, putting Diamond in line for the next set of rockets, protecting him from the damage this time. It was time to stop playing around. His machinegun on top of his left shoulder swung around and began to fire at point blank range at the femme, aiming for her neck and shoulder to disable those parts on her. His servo came around on his back and grabbed hold of her leg, pulling at it while spinning around, pulling her off of his back. The mech was fairly strong, and the jet was not heavy, making lifting her with one arm easy. As she also made contact with him, the pain would course through her entire body, making resistance very futile. He spun another 180 degrees as he brought her body down with a slam into the ground. He proceeded to let go of her leg while taking a step forwards onto her chest, pressing it down into the ground. His sword came down, straight down on one of her wings, cutting it in half before moving the sword to her throat, holding it there. "Stand down or this glitch dies!" He said loudly, and the tone in his voice made it clear that he wasn't joking. "And if you resist, maybe someone else will pay the price? Didn't you have a little sparkling, what was his name again.. Aquahaze? Oh yes, I know of him, I have contacts within your ranks. It would be a shame if anything happened to him, right?" He then added, now a very chilling tone in his voice.
His machinegun now targeted the jet headed towards him and fired back at it while Tarn brought up his shield again and let that take the last of the rockets. He was very glad he had that shield, it saved him so much trouble. He didn't think they would attack him more now that he had made this last threat, but to be sure that an escape would be swft in case they did, he contacted his shuttle and made sure it was ready to leave when he got there. My job here is done, the traitor is dead. I will depart now and you will not try to stop me, or you will suffer the consequences. Is that understood? Good."

The immense pain she had felt made her angry, making her form spark with electricity as she was blown up from behind. It dazed her before she was spun and slammed down on the ground. She yowled out in pain, before her form was pinned by the mech's foot. She clawed and clawed at Tarn, scrambling to get free before he mentioned her sparkling. It made her stop, and simply stare up at the dark Decepticon. She felt her sparkling through their born bond... he as upset. Tarn couldn't have....
She coughed up energon, before uttering softly, "You're a monster..." Before she was left free. Her wing was missing, her back was burned and blown to bits, and her over all being was in immense pain. She was left to lie there once the mech left, before she finally rolled onto her front to stand.

Skyflare had held up his arms in an effort to block the shots, but it was only a matter of time before he crumpled to the ground, trying to ignore the warnings popping up on his hud.
Once Tarn left, he struggled to his feet with the help of his brother, who had arrived soon after he went down. The two then moved to help the femme to her feet.
"You're in-ugh! ...no condition to fly. We can... Probably... Get you to metroplex."
Backdraft decided not to add, 'if the two of us don't run out of energy first.' as he felt things were bad enough as is.

Wheelspin had taken aim as Tarn retreated. He was not one to promise not to shoot the enemy, just because they laid down a threat. His rifle was adjusted, and he had the large Decepticon in sights. The rust storm however had gone from bad to worse and the dust soon enveloped the body, until he could not see him any longer. He cursed and lowered the weapon glancing towards the other two, now three bots. He slung his rifle back over his shoulder.
He waited for a while longer, to make sure that Tarn was gone and that his departure had not just been a trap to have him reveal himself, only to have the other bot return. He still had the electromagnetic cloak up, so his spark signature remained concealed.
He went to one side of the room, into the hall and there scanned the skies one last time. Nothing. The storm was strong, and the rust concealed most of everything now. With a silent curse again he began to return to where the rest were. "We are going to hunker down until it blows over." He murmured looking at the two that were injured, now that he had come closer. "We're going further below." He expected them to move first one then the other of the injured. He had already sent a comm to his autodrones, the survivors, requiring them to regroup, pick the injured and then follow the protocol. They would know which.
"I'll perform emergency repairs there." He added his optics shifting from Diamond to the twins. "You, after you help bring these down, check for the other survivors, I'll have guards set up, those who are injured are to be brought down below." He said to the one that had not sustained damage. He paused to look at Diamond. "...You know attacking him at point blank is not the best strategy to go about fighting His type."
He paused listening to the howling of the storm outside, wishing he could pick up on the subtle whine of engines just to know where Tarn was. "We could have had him." That was all he had to say about the temporary hostage situation that stopped him from firing at Tarn again. At least he got his 'optic', even if the glass to that would probably be replaced. That he rendered him half blind temporarily was satisfactory, even if not was not enough.

The bots made no attempt to follow him, a fact that he appreciated. Most likely they were too caught up on tending to their wounded. Bots had a tendency to do that, rather helping their own than finishing a missiion or taking out a target. Another reason they were losing, too much empathy. In this world you wouldn't make it for long if you relied on that, something he had been taught long ago. Energon was dripping from his blade as he kept walking back towards his ship. He took a quick note on who had been there, apart from the autotroopers. It had been Diamond, two smaller ones with no track record, he would be sure to look them up later, and the cloaker. He had been shot by something which showed no signs of life, but nontheless lived. Not many autobots he knew of could do that, and of course he knew who this one was. Little Wheelspin.
He moved his hand back up to his broken optic cover, the purple color that once were there had faded into nothingness. Tarn would have to get that replaced once he got back to base. He put away his shield on his back, giving it some extra protection as the rust stom intensified. It was hard to see anything now, and his impaired vision did not make it any easier. Luckily he knew where his ship was, so there wasn't any real trouble getting there, it just took time. It was actually a bit calming, having the rust all around him and nobody else close.
When he reached his ship, he quickly moved inside and shut the doors. The engines were already ready for takeoff as he had instructed it earlier. He vented and just sat there for a moment, almost as if waiting for something. That wasn't entirely wrong, but not true either. It was just one of the things he did sometimes. He shook his helm as if clearing his thoughts before taking off. The ship shook as the rust threw it around before it stabilized, and shifted into flight mode. It kept the same course but in reverse as it had taken when it arrived, staying low to the ground until they got out of the rust storm. Another successful mission.

"I don't need- ugh... to be scolded by you." The femme hissed softly, looking over her wounds. "You know how I am. You know my reasons." Diamond growled, trying to keep her precious life from leaking out of her wounds too quickly. It was clear she was in a lot of pain, but she ignored it and tried to get up, "I must go back to Aquahaze... He's frustrated about something..." She grunted.

Backdraft did his best to help Diamond further in while Skyflare remained behind. Despite his leaking wounds and aching joints (fragging rust!) he stared out into the storm where Tarn had disappeared. His fists were clenched and shaking. His frame heating up in anger at his loss.
He let out a frustrated yell and pounded the floor, leaving a shallow dent.
"That mech is going to die!"

"I know how you are and what he did to you. But getting yourself killed will do nobody any good, not Aquahaze, nor us, nor you." He shook his helm, when she wanted to go out there at that moment. Repairs first, then anything else. "We can offline him, but we need a strategy that does not involve us giving him pats on the back or anywhere else. We need to have a clear processor when we fight him again. You need to have one too. Or do you want him to win?" He paused as they moved further in and he pushed her down, gently. "Let me repair you first. Your sparkling is deep within our base. He is safe. " He was convinced enough of that. The base was far from the border where all the fighting was. He had not heard of any warnings or reports of it having been attacked by the enemy. "Once the rust storm dies down, and you're in a fit enough state to return, you can. But not before that." He indicated her damaged wing. At least he had the other piece, but it would require a vast amount of welding, reconnection of the cabling, and post 'op' work. He glanced briefly towards the other two twins. "Move in. There's nothing we can do now."Without waiting for her to answer he began to tend to her wounds. First his attention would be on the areas that needed sealing, especially the cabling that might have been pierced. The ones that might not be essential, or those that were too torn and needed replacement, he would seal closed, the others, he would do his best to only seal the damage, so that energon could yet again flow freely from one part to the other part of her frame. The femme simply let off a deep growl as she was forced down, but allowed the mech to repair her wounds. Ignoring the sting of his tools, she simply fell into deep thought. Tarn had always let her live, and it was a mysterious as to why. He mentioned her sparkling... how did he know she had a sparkling? Damnit... She growled internally, before she shifted a little.

Backdraft said a small apology to the duo before going out to get his brother.
The only thing that ended up happening was loud arguing consisting of Backdraft trying to bring Skyflare inside, while his twin resisted, insisting on standing guard.

wheelspin worked. He had started from the worse injuries and progressed to the more cosmetic repairs. He did as much as he could with the tools and the materials available. He had got up a few times, left Diamond for a few moments only to return with a plate. The storage of those had been depleted, worse so, the room where these were held, had been partially damaged thanks to Tarn. He picked the wing next. He had to nudge her to the side and at that time, his null ray replaced his servo for a moment. "I am going to dull this out." He said, aware that Diamond had seen him do this to her sparkling before, so that more explanation was not needed. The setting was tuned down a bit and then the shot was released, numbing the area from where the wing had been serrated to where it began at her back. "The Prime is currently here, not far from us. I would suggest we report to him first, before you return to base." He was silent for a few moments just listening to the arguing happening outside their room. He commed some of the survivors of the autodrones to approach the two twins. Not to relieve them from duty, but to ensure that they knew, that guard had been set. The one that was not injured could remain with them if he so wished, as long as he remained out of shot range and sight of whoever might be outside. The injured one would have to come to him. He focused on the wing again, silent because of how difficult the repair of that part was. There were connections that needed to be made and the design and mapping of a wing was a little different to a ground vehicle's doors. He had scanned her other wing just in case. When the cabling had been reattached and the destroyed parts had been snipped away before doing so, he placed one of the larger platings underneath the wing. He made a few small welds first, to immobilize the two parts. Once done, he began to fuse the serrated edges of both sides of the wing, carefully, adding material to it, as he went to smooth out the separated sections. The welds would need to be buffed flat, but that he could do once the first part was finished. "We are going to do your back after this." He would scan her again to see if there was any internal damage that he might have missed. If not, she could rest then. "Sergeant. ..We can only fight our wars if we're alive and functioning." He may have gotten out the best out of them. Not a scratch and the layer of 'clear liquid' had disappeared when he had begun with the repairs the electromagnetic cloak had been shut down as well to save energy. It did take a while, but the wing was finally fully welded on one side. He removed the plate that had served as support, and began to seal the other side, nudging Diamond to move a little as he did so. Being of a smaller size to her did mean it required her to move less, for him to reach the areas he needed repaired. "If you would, I'd like you on your front now. That side i've repaired ,so it should not give you any issue."He glanced up briefly to see if the injured twin had been brought in already, before returning to his task. RedOptics Flare Draft
