Velocitron, also known as the speed planet is a desert planet with vast, open spaces perfect for a culture focused entirely on racing. It orbits a dying star and is at a rather extreme distance from Cybertron counted perhaps in millions if not billions of years of travel, without use of a space bridge. While most of the planet had been reconstructed to offer space for roads which are nowadays mostly abandoned in favour of those in the cities, there is at least one area known to be fully natural, found in the southern magentic pole. The area consists of sandy hills, narrow canyons and the location of where the space bridge once stood.
The daylight side of the planet is a scorching inferno, while the nightime side is habitable which is also the reason that the cities on Velocitron are mobile, constantly moving to keep out of the sun. Solar storms are not uncommon, often affecting communication on the planet. Mines exist on this planet but are deep under ground and only reachable during the time of the night. Calculations must be made for those who want to brave the distance between the moving cities and stationary mines before the daylight hours. These mines are under the control of the elite, while those working in them are oftentimes the slower frames that almost never leave their posts. The mines resemble the the working cities of the underground focused on supplying the ones above.
The cities themselves are covered with smooth, well designed roads, meant to allow the inhabitants to reach even greater speeds. Slow driving is frowned upon and sometimes downright dangerous. Off road racing is considered akin to savagery. Those who cannot keep up are usually shunned by the general population. There are few exceptions. Races are the means through which everything is decided, as Velocitronians are fully fixated on this past time. Delta is the capitol. The most important event is Speedia – a race that is used to select the new leaders and for other important decisions.
The only enforcer of law may be a sort of 'police' force which usually consists of the fastest velocitronians. They have status of the elite, while some of their work consists of keeping high-graded velocitronians off the road.
