It's that time of year again. It's election time! As leaders do have to get replaced sometimes. But now, about the election. It is held so that the community/factions have a way of saying who they want to lead them for the next couple of months. The time will be following: A week of nominations, starting on April 13th. This is followed up by the actual polling election which lasts until April 30th. In terms of nominations a player will be expected to state the character of their's that they are nominating, alongside an optional piece on why they should be chosen. Any posts used to deride or insult another candidate will be deleted, further insults will lead to account punishments. The only person prohibited from leading is the leader of the opposite faction. This means that the same person who is assigned the Prime role may not also hold the Supreme Commander role. On the other hand however the same person that is the Decepticon SiC can also be the Autobot Prime with another of their characters and vise-versa. In the rare occasion that someone receives the top vote for both Autobot Prime and Decepticon Supreme Commander then they must decide the faction they will lead. From there the other faction will receive a repoll. Current leaders must also nominate themselves to be included. Also, the nominees have to be existing characters, as it makes no sense for an outsider to just show up and get an extremely high rank. Character Name: Notes: Example Character Name: Shadow-Strike Prime (has a nice ring don't it ) Notes: I believe I would be a good leader because... blaa blaa blaa... cool name... blaa blaa blaa... matrix of leadership... blaa blaa blaa... Did I mention I was once Decepticon Commander... blaa blaa blaa... and that is why I should be leader.

Character Name: Vating
Notes: Vating would be a good leader because he's an experienced soldier on the battlefield. He is in pretty good with the leadership as is, being one of the first made aware of the Regenesis project, and he's older, he's got the good stories. Vating is currently the only Sergeant and out of all the active members, he is the third highest rank on the battlefield as is (with Sparkflare and Sky outranking him, none of the others above him are very active with the exception of Empress and Diamond, and he doesn't fall under either of their categories of command). In the current mission running as of this post, he has been given temporary leadership over the unit, even with a ranking officer (Sparkflare) there by said officer. So he does in fact have some pretty decent leadership experience as well.

Notes : Well here I am again, making another app for this little topic. Alright, I'm not gonna lie to myself here, but last four months, I have personally not been able to do anything that I have said in my nomination application. I would like to apologise for that, school has been very demanding the last four months, so I have been lacking in my plans here on the site. Really picked a great time to nominate myself. But considering the next four/five months are seemingly free for me after May, I reckon I should have one last go at being SiC/TiC before I pack my bags. So what are my plans? Basically, everything I said last time, making the Autobots a more unified faction and actually finish off Regenesis if I havn't done so by polling time (I'm one post off).
That should be it really, second verse, same as the first kinda thing, not much to talk about in all honesty, but if you have any questions that want me answering, feel free and don't be afraid to hit me up!
EDIT: I finished Regenesis! I actually have done something.

Character Name: WheelSpin
Notes: I will work with others on building a team that will utilise the abilities of its members to the best of their potential. In battle (where applicable) I will look for teamwork, rather than lone wolves when achieving an objective. We will strive to use strategy and planning, with adaptability to the current situation, to be able to overpower even the enemies of greater strength than ourselves.
Every Decepticon, every enemy has a weakness. It can be used against them. We are not sparklings running into a field madly in hopes at least some of us survive it. We are a well trained unit. *WheelSpin is aware that his attempts to attack bots much larger than himself may appear selfish or even mad, but providing the distraction so the bigger bots can take them out, is a form of team work as well and not chickening out on the enemy, just because they are a bit larger is also what needs to be done for the sake of the team. That and he just doesn't see how short should mean - run the other way just because the going got a bit tough -.*
I will expect field medics to be just as capable of fighting and defending themselves as common soldiers and shall be paired up with a fighter, to train with and to provide them backup when needed. A field medic will be required to be present at battle missions to provide immediate medical care to the downed Autobots. The drill sergeant shall be responsible for the recruits and their training whether for solo fighting, pairs or in a more numerous team. Superior officers will assist in that. Temporary leaders may be put in place for the team for the duration of a mission.
While I do not fully condone lonewolves (I have done work, which only consisted of myself attempting to capture and detain the enemy, I still had backup standing by at comm's reach) and can see the potential in their use as well (especially missions that require stealth, surveillance or where only one bot is needed for whatever reason), someone will be at all times expected to standby, should the solo mission be in progress, especially when the potential for it to go awry is high.
Those that will show potential, shall be rewarded. We will strive to keep the organic casualties to a minimum, while our primary objective is to seek and destroy or capture the Decepticons. Also, while we are all aware of how fragile the organics are, body and mind, their numbers are much greater and their tenacity to be annoying is admirable and can be used against the Decepticons, with casualties in mind. We can study the potential for cooperation with them, while keeping them away from our base or our own secrets. Limited cooperation is something we could explore in the future.
Every member of the faction will be given limited free time, in which they are only expected to report to duty, should the need arise (ie. are expected to be available to be commed and respond quickly) but are otherwise free to do as they please, within reason. Drunkenness on duty shall be punished severely, as will sloppiness and poor maintenance. Rust or grit on the frame is inexcusable as it can lead to further complications, deterioration of the soldier's fighting preparedness and in turn can endanger other members of the team. Inspections will happen. Failing to do as expected will have consequences.
While ideas can and will be discussed at briefings, it does not mean that they will all be realised. They will however be considered, evaluated and then fully or partially accepted or dismissed.
While I understand that sometimes sacrifices must be made, We should strive towards assuring my fellow Autobots that they will not be needlessly 'thrown under the bus' when other options are available. Our numbers may be small, but with upgrades, teamwork and smart thinking we can overpower our more numerous foe. Our strength may not lie in large scale battles, but in singling out the enemy, and depleting their numbers until they have no more left to fight for them.
In short, I see potential in what we are doing and our team as well as how far our current Prime had gotten us. Albeit I may disagree with some of his approaches to the problems, I am aware that his job has not been easy, as one of the leader never is. I am aware that the responsibility he carried so far and is still carrying has included decisions where neither of the options was a clear cut and easy choice to take and he could only choose the lesser of the two evils. If I am chosen I will try to do my best in building and improving what has been done to ensure that our future shall not be left to the whim of the enemy. I will of course need the help of all members of our faction, as together we stand strong.
(While WheelSpin can be a loose cannon he is capable of curbing his temper for the greater good of his faction. He can be serious and responsible when it counts and has the confidence to lead. Since he is shorter than most bots he has had to rely on his smarts rather than brawn (and a good few upgrades too). He knows smarts can overpower brawn and has done so in the past. He may not believe a fight should be fought like a duel, but rather than all advantages should be used to defeat the enemy. It is not cheating, it is fighting with what you have.)

Name: Skyspray.
Notes: Yet again, I'm running for Prime, but this time it may be my very last time. I've been with the bots from the start, seen the rise and fall of mighty warriors and friends. Not everything that I have done has been finished yet, and I want to stay and finish these while my legacy still stands. Then, I can depart in peace. So what have I done then? It is not something unknown that I have focused all the autotroopers on building Regenesis, which should be finished soon. I have been trying to interact with as many of my fellow bots as possible, because I know that interaction and support is the best way to get a strong group. A strong group who has faith in one another and can work together can and will be stronger than one who doesn't. The problem with lone wolves that was very obvious at the start, has been solved to a degree. Bots are no longer rushing a group of enemies alone, which I can take part credit for. Bots have both been more aware of the problem and I imposed some slight guidelines that they were not to go out alone.
I still want to implement the squad system, where bots will be paired up three and three, (or two and two depending on the amount of bots available). Reason it didn't work last time was that the assigned squads fell apart when members left and we coudln't fill out the spots. Now I believe we do, which is why I will keep pushing for it. I want a faction that cares about its members, a faction where the members feel like they matter. Every autobot should have the opportunity to feel wanted and needed, and as a leader I will help them with that the best I can.
Rankings will be uppdated more regularly, if the members feel like they want a promotion etc. Actions should be rewarded, but at the same time, deliberate destrucion or harming teammates with no other purpose than to harm them will be punished. I can't say this enough; We are a team, start acting like it. Rankings will also do something, except for just giving you a title. What these rewards are will be discussed at a later date, but there will be something.
I am fully aware that I don't always do things by the book, or act liek a traditional autobot. Let's face it, we are at war. If I acted like a sissy and didn't take any risks, would we even be here today? We can't afford not to do things because they might cause damage to humans or something like that. Of course we shouldn't go out of our way to hurt them, but if the opportunity rises and I get the opportunity to dispatch of a major threat but I also destroy a lot of humans, then yes, I will take the shot. People forget that sometimes, think that we can just be lax and not worry. I know that we can't, and that we always need to be on alert for decepticon activity.
Humans themselves are not to be allowed inside the base, or near it. As you might know, humans are now fighting both bots and cons, they don't care about factions at all. This is why I won't work with humans, because I don't want to risk my people's safety.
Lastly I want to point out that I am still active on the formus, probably the one most actve in the community. You can always trust that I'll be there of anything happens and I promise I will do everything I can to help each one of you succeed in your tasks. 'Til All Are One.

Notes:Novaflame here, I am running for leadership again. If you want a leader who will help shape up and unite the Autobots and improve training for our fellow autobots, then vote for me. If your looking for a different view on how the autobots should be run, vote for one of the other candidates. But, if you're satisfied with the current prime, vote for Skyspray Prime for another term. the choice is out there, but the decision is yours and yours alone.
