Vating stood there, with his .44 held to his side now, wording to himself, "Damnit..." He then holstered his .44 and raised his hands in the air and said, "Now now, no need to pull that trigger. Thanks for the compliment... I think..." He heard the threat to the mayor and stood there, legitimately helpless to the situation.

"Elder Price! We got 10 vertibirds inbound." One of knights yelled standing on the lightower. "Ours?" He questioned. "Negative sir." The knight said. Darren grabbed some binoculars. "It...cant be." The Elder said with a dark look in his eyes. His worse fears are true. "Prepare for a fight." Darren yelled out. He let go of Vating. He would then shoot the mayor in the face. "Prepare my power armor and hand me my laser." He said. "...The Enclave is back."

Vating looks around for a moment, completely lost as to what just happened, "Wait, wha- who? What is going on?"

When the vertibirds were above the town the doors opened as men in xo-2 power armor equipped with energy weapons jumped out and entered combat with the brotherhood of steel as the inhabitants of the town ran into their homes

Vating saw the power armor and mumbled, "Sonuva Glitch..." He then ran for some cover and drew his .44 again, "I'm gonna regret this..."

Darren began to fire at the enclave troops, Killing a few with his legendary gattling laser. He picked up a fat man. A mini nuke launcher. He aimed up at one of the vertibirds firing a lone shot at the bird bringing it down with a small mushroom cloud. The destroyed vertibird would crash into a crowd of enclave troops.

Enclave troops continued fighting even though a vertibird and a number of troops were down but 10 more vertibirds carrying more troops entered the battle the enclave now outnumbered the brotherhood in vertibirds and troops and manged to take out 2 of the brotherhood vertibirds.

Vating pops outta cover and fires a few shots with his .44 towards the Enclave, not dealing much damage due to the power armor in between his bullets and the actual targets, though maybe a couple well placed shots could get in the eye and end someone or something.

"Brotherhood! Fall back to the vertibirds!" He yelled in retreat. They needed to tell the minutemen. The Enclave will probably project a hologram in every major settlement with there stupid president talking. "You with the truck. Meet us in San Antonio." He commanded Vating. The vertibirds took to the air faster than you can say vertibird.

When the enclave soldiers saw the brotherhood Retreating they stopped firing as they watched the brotherhood vertibirds fly away one of the soldiers then looked over to where vating was taking cover " your allowed to leave but next time we won't show mercy"The soldier said towards vating

Back on the oil rig George Jefferson was preparing for his speech that would be broadcasted across all of Texas "are we ready to broadcast" Jefferson asked one of the officers "yes sir we are ready " the officer responded "begin" Jefferson told the communication officer after the command the comm officer pressed a few buttons then all signals in texas would have been interrupted as Jefferson began his speech " attention people of Texas we are the enclave you may have heard the name in the past as a group who made attempts a genocide of every one in the wasteland well we are not that enclave instead we want peace between us and wastelanders if you want peace don't interfere with enclave activities " Jefferson then ended the broadcast and began make future plans

Robb sprinted to the vertibirds, He curses as they take off, He spots a car starting to accelerate in his direction, he dodges to the left and swings himself up onto the bed of the truck and notices the river, "Nice truck, I hope you don't mind me"

Vating looked behind him to see his doors wide open with a man in power armor climbing in the back and says, "What are you doing in my truck, and there is no elder here. And close those doors, I don't want to lose my stuff because of you!"
