Vating looked to a private and said, "You, help this man up, we're moving to the next resupply base." He then looked down at his clip, quite low. He tossed away the clip and slammed a new one home. After that, he said, "Alright boys, move out!" They began to move through the city's multiple battlefields, working their way towards the bridge the Scarab was moving towards while getting to the next stop. eliminating lots of hostiles along the way, though now they're low on ammo again. Worst timing too, because a certain Elite had reappeared and was walking towards them angrily.

Thila had been following them, watching them reload and kill more of his allies. He didn't care, he was patient. Eventually he assumed they were nearly depleted and reappeared behind them all, using a fear tactic to get them to panic. To further support this tactic, he'd be growling menacingly the entire time he's approaching, with his energy sword drawn and ready to cut down some humans.

"Sweet as in radical and awesome. Got it."

There was a faint dinging noise as she logged the info. Rose pondered for a moment on what other foods she wanted to know about.

"I was curious about sulphuric acid, but upon further research I discovered that it is bad for humans. So we can't do that. Maybe you can it a lemon?"

The figure glanced to the window and then back.

"Shall I set up a comm for the outside?"

By the time the ODST had gotten to this point, they had spent most of their ammo up. They all raise their weapons and fire one short burst before they hear a click. They then pull the trigger a few more times only to hear click, click, click. "Awwww Scrap..." Vating then turns to his guys and says, "Anyone got a solution?" The first ODST raises his hand and says, "Well we're mostly outta ammo except for injured guy and a resupply camp is pretty close. How about we retreat." Vating doesn't even bother to reply as this elite was still approaching, "Great idea corporal, now lets run!" He then grabs Zain by the arm and says, "Guy, ammo is tight down here and we don't have any on us after our last trek through town. We all can probably make it to the nearby resupply camp so we can restock and reload."

Zain saw them all start running after they... Spoke amongst themselves. He began pursuing tactics and started chasing after them. The objective was to kill all human forces on the ground, and that was what he was gonna do.

Zain would just be shooting at Thilia's last position, as he was still quite well stocked on ammo, since he had been using CQC when fighting the elites. Zain would fire a few bursts at Thilia before asking How long to the next base? he said, strapping his BR to his back. He hoped his squad was okay, since most of them were at home as Zain had discharged them for the day. Zain would keep his eye out in case the Elite decided to try anything.

Vating continued his retreat saying, "One or two blocks down to the right, a little odd why they aren't out yet." He continued running away from the elite with ammo because he and most of his team didn't have any.

Thila continued after the group, easily avoiding Zain's shots by moving from cover to cover while approaching. It's amazing how much difficulty you can give someone by simply dazing them, and then pursuing them and their rescuers.

The figure crossed her arms, her white eyes flashed once before dimming again. As she did this, she let out a dramatic sigh.

"You bore me. Perhaps one of your recruits will like to take my little test?"

As Rose said this, she pulled up a list off applicants that had applied for the Spartan program. Because she was scrolling so fast, the list looked like a blurr. While the AI did this, she tilted her head and glanced at her partner.

"Zain, why did I end up as your AI? I've checked the files that I have access to, but they didn't say anything." She scoffed in amusement. "And I thought the other AIs were dead ends..."

Vating nods in agreement to Zain, "Good idea Pincushion, let's go!" They all bolted it around the corner and into the UNSC resupply outpost only to find blood all over the walls and bodies riddled across a battlefield. Seems like the Covenant had already gotten here... Or were still here. Vating looks around and says, "Alright, everyone restock and reload, we're moving after that Scarab."

Thila knew that other Covenant soldiers were still in the building they took shelter in, so he continued on until he received orders to head to a rendezvous point and get on the Phantom to board Regret's Super Carrier over the city.

"Perfect. My own little Guinea pigs..."

Whether that statement was meant to be ominous or not, it would be hard to tell. Rose was funny that way; the way were you don't want to leave your eldest child with your younger ones cause they're acting odd.

At Zain's response, Rose briefly seemed moved by it but then quickly looked upright insulted. A moment later she was back to her usual self. It was clear she was not good with dealing with emotions.

"Bleh." The AI stuck her tongue out once more. "You sound like a mother that obsesses over her child."
