Velocitron - Entering planets atmosphere.
An M-Wing ship begins to approach the orange ball of desert and city which makes up part of Velocitron, the speed planet. Its engines burn brighter and stabilizers twitch as the ship enters the planet's atmosphere. The ship was heading towards a tall stalk like building with numerous hexagonal landing pads and hangers strutting out from the side. A giant spiraling road winds its way upwards and turbolifts dropping or raising up and down the tower.
Inside the cockpit of the ship were two bots, one orange the other green, the orange figure was at the controls bobbing his head to some Earth Music which was playing over the ship's intercom. The other was watching their descent, gazing over the roadways and buildings which lined Speedia, the capital city.
As the ship crawls into the hangar bay, a set of landing gears extend out, small landing jets softened the descent and soon the engines cut off. The ship whines and hisses, calculating the atmospheric change and gravity.
We're here Systemcheck, this is Velocitron.
The orange mech stood up, Wings and a tail began to unfurl from his back, the orange mech was Burnout. The Predacon son of Feenxife and Gearchange. He was part cybertronian, amidst his predacon guise were several parts to his vehicle mode.
Don't you think the locals will get suspicious? A predacon and a helicopter walk into Speedia...
Burnout chuckles, reaching for his leather coat.
Most of the people that live on Speedia don't have time to look... they're fast, real fast, I doubt they'll notice... besides, after the rebuilding of the spacebridges, more variety has come to the planet... they have a fliers race now.
Burnout shifted a little to fit the jacket over his frame, his wings, poked out through the back and his shoulder spikes retracted. He lets his tail coil a little.
Systemcheck pushes a console out of the way of his chair, following Burnout through the exit of the cockpit and down a set of stairs.
If you say so, but don't get any ideas about entering any of those races... you know that these racers are professionals... they were born on this planet, they've adapted to its gravity and know these roads. everyone on this planet is turbocharged, even the transporters and large vehicles.
A smirk forms on Burnout's faceplate as he walks to a table where his tools of the trade rested. Several weapons were hung up on a rack opposite.
Burnout...
The predacon looked back to Systemcheck after equipping himself.
System, I can handle myself on Velocitron turf. Seriously when you took that commanding role at Iacon High Council you became a different mech.
System reaches down and pulls out a small card, flashing its emblem.
Then if you're not going to listen to me as a friend or nephew, listen to me as your superior, by order of the High Command
Burnout pauses.
You know Cybertron's fun police has no authority on this planet, I know you're sticking your back out for me nowadays... but you need to learn to live a little. Just like on Earth.
System vents out, lifting his visor and rubbing his optics a little.
Yeah... you're right. I shouldn't let work get in the way of family... you're my family Burnout, now that most of them are with your parents on the beast planet...
So this means I can race?
Only if its necessary.
Burnout and Systemcheck exit the ship via a ramp, the ship closes up behind them. Burnout points a device at the shop and locks it, sliding the device into his jacket.
A turbo elevator was one of the fastest ways down next to driving, the two stepped inside the glass paneled lift, pressing a button for ground level. As the lift began to descent the city was revealed infront of them, skyscrapers, highways and busy roads. Cars were driving in unison like a well oiled machine, others walking on the sidewalks.
Burnout spots flashing billboards, showing products like Nightmare fuel or Quick Fix's Repair Shop. The city center was large, people were conversing between two large audience stands and a raceway, the Speedia Halls were rising above it all.
Hey, we should see if the archives from Iacon relate to anything in their records.
System points to the building, Burnout nods back.
Yeah, I'd like to know a thing or two about this planet, like how did they get here?
