Diamond's audio twitched and she looked at the mech, the slightest of surprise in her optics before she slumped over again with a grunt, "Fine. But I can't wait for long, I get anxious." Then turning her helm over at pet, she smiled softly and patted the creature's helm, enjoying her company quite a bit.
"But what can I possibly do in this battered state? Feeling an empty hole in my body isn't exactly the greatest feeling, and don't ask how I know." She asked, optics focusing on Skyspray again, studying the way his optics twitched back and forth and grew and shrank to focus. Every little movement of his body, rather everyone's, was recorded in her mind, studying how they would move with lumbering grace or delicate differences.

Diamond had just started to lean into Sky until he spoke of his terms. Basically hissing at him, the femme scooted away and pointed a digit at him accusingly.
"Hey! That's not fair! And I agree with Ratchet, my job depends on my risk of getting hurt just like yours!" She bared her fangs and her snake-like tongue curled back in anger. Her audios flattened and servos flexed as if that natural instinct had kicked in. Growling softly she looked down, relaxing a little as her small tantrum had faded.

Letting off a soft purr-like noise, Diamond brought her optics up to meet Sky's briefly before he turned to leave for another femme, making her spark sink further. Don't think anything of it, weakling.
The femme pondered for a moment, looking at the floor before coming to a conclusion. There was no use, and she didn't want to keep a handicap. However, when was the last time she even transformed? Being on the ground was lame, and difficult for being the HoS, for she didn't have a bird's eye-view to scout further."Take it out, and when you receive a seeker's cog, please notify me at once." Diamond looked up at Ratchet with stern optics, determined to become something else, something more fitting.

Diamond growled softly as she let the medic do his work, but her spark nearly dropped upon hearing that one of her most vital systems couldn't be fixed or replaced.
"Surely you must have something available...." Her tone was soft and clearly exhausted. But her expression said that sure enough she'd step foot into trouble again within the next couple hours. It was in her nature either way. The instinct to kill and maim was in her reprogrammed self, and it always appeared in the worst of times.

The silent tapping of light trods announced the arrival of a Vehicon. Her paint colour was white and purple, decorated with yellow markings all over. Her hidden face was held at a proud angle, and her mask pulsed slowly in an unamused manner.
"You called, dear Taggon?" She asked, walking up to the familiar shape her echoes created. "Long time no see, by the way." There was no irony in her tone as the blind vehicon placed her servos behind her back. Cataract lowered her helm to carry a neutral look as her audios perked upon every little noise reaching her senses.

It had been days since the silent and graceful femme had left her room. This way no one would know how badly she had messed up. Cataract was quiet, sitting in her chair and letting her mind wander as her body settled perfectly still, the same position it had been for the past three days. Not a single piston had moved from its current position, and her mask lay on the table beside her settled form. A sudden sound in her helm broke her fast of movement however, and her helm perked ever so slightly to the familiar voice.
::Friend Cataract. Are you available? I require your assistance with a few projects, if you have the time. I know it had been a while since I have spoken with you, and this favor seems out of the blue. If you can reply though, I would ask that you would.::
Her reaction was not instant as it would usually be. Though he may have been announced as the Head of Strategy, this did not stir her will to hesitate, rather than immediately stagger to her trods. No, Cat took her sweet time to stand as if she were royalty, then turned to pick up the discarded armour piece she had removed earlier, latching it back onto her blank face. The optics that were now spheres of glass that looked like they held the universe within were covered, and the odd design that had been engraved into the face of the mask faded to life. And with that, the femme Vehicon at last exited her room.

Walking in with a rather upset look on her face, Diamond silently slithered over to an empty berth and sat on it. Looking at the energon on her servo from clutching her wound, the femme flattened her audios, glaring as the pain started to settle in once her adrenaline faded. Her T-Cog had been destroyed in a fight with Dynamite, one engaged by her delinquent of her other half. This granted her some opportunity however.

Standing straight after a dramatic entrance from the mountains, Diamond clutched her heavily bleeding side, growling down as she shifted herself. Something inside hurt badly as she tried to open her subspace, and didn't succeed.
My cog.... With a frustrated aura, the Head of Surveillance sweeped away into the halls towards the medbay. Ratchet was probably going to be pissed.

Diamond glanced to her left, spotting the green and blue armour of her beloved Prime, a happy spark setting off in her optics as she smiled. ::Has the Prince come to save his Princess?:: She called before looking forward again. The bridge in front of her fluctuated, then started to close, causing the femme to dash faster. She nearly tripped before leaping with full force into the closing mass, landing on the otherside with her claws digging deep canals into the hard surface within the baase.

Studying every movement of two bots at the same time, she quickly halted her advance, not without a cost. Dynamite's sword managed to dig into her armour, just enough to hit something vital alright. But being as quick as she was, she mustered up enough strength to leap back, landing on all fours as she slid to a halt. Looking down at her right side and inspecting the amount of energon escaping her body, she grimaced once the pain began to settle in.
"Frag this...." She hissed, biting a lip to whistle the Pet back over. How could I have been so blind to that bad feeling I had...? Diamond panted silently, still crouched as she glared at Dynamite, before chuckling. That spawn of Unicron was here as well, feral optics locked on her as he charged forward. But she still had the advantage of size and speed. "Time to be afraid for once... I guess." The femme wasted no time in booking it for the still open groundbridge.

The femme wasn't fast enough to be blind. Taking her chance once he brought his sword up, she didn't bother to block, or even continue forward. Instead she lurched to the side, rolling into a crouch to study him further. She was much faster than him, and can throw an attack swiftly without being harmed, but even that is a high risk. Diamond shook her helm again, trying to clear her vision of the throbbing her other half caused. Snarling softly, she pounced right for him again, her left side guarded by her scythe, her right vulnerable.
"You WANTED a fight! I'll give you one!" Diamond yowled, lifting her scythe to strike his spot, but prepared it for the second strike in advance as this scythe wasn't originally built for her, so it was rather heavy and energy consuming.

Diamond flattened her audios when the mech spoke, the corner of her upper lip twitching until she brought them back to bare her fangs in a feral hiss. "Who says we're losing? Both sides are quite balanced, we kill one of yours, you kill one of ours, see? Balance!" A dark chuckle rasped through her chest, "And my Prime? Oh, he won't allow me to die. And if I do, that's the last thing that you'll want." If Dia indeed did die today, Skyspray would only flatten the continents, attempting a full on genocide of all cons and those with ill intention.
Once The Pet bounded forward to attack their assailant, Diamond reached out to grab its tail, but missed by a hair. "No! Come back! Sky will be mad if you're hurt!" Who am I kidding? He'll be upset if we're even scuffed! She thought to herself. Suddenly gaining a helm ache, Diamond shook her head and gripped the middle, claws easily sinking into the metal and causing even greater pain. Angered, and clearly gone into her other personality, she launched forward with great speed, readying her scythe and forcing the blades to burst out with energy.

"Do you want to find the Energon, little one?" Diamond crouched down to rub The Pet's head, smiling as she stood up again to read the device. One of her audio's twitched, picking up a bad vibe from somewhere. A small wail came from her throat as her crimson optics glared in the direction she thought she heard something from. Her instincts nearly kicked in, but her protocol nailed her trods to the ground, waiting silently.
Could be nothing, however, she could not, and should not ignore these feelings.

The portal swirled into existence, emitting a strong green light that filled the rocky area of the mountains. Diamond glided out and onto the cold ground, her spark immediately dropping from recognizing the general area. It was near Jasper, the area in which Halberd had been captured all that time ago. Had it really been that long? Her crimson optics glowed brightly and dangerously against the darkness of an Earth night, where not even the bright moon and stars could even take over.
"Let's see what we got here...." She mumbled, taking out an Energon detector from her subspace and activating it. There was a small pulse, possibly a vein but doubtful there would be much. Something's better than nothing, right? "Maybe it'll be stronger if we go look around." She mused softly, looking around as she waited for The Pet and Sortie to arrive.

Diamond looked to Skyspray who had kissed her forehead then down at the pet whom he had dropped into her arms. Nearly dropping the creature as he caught the femme off guard, she was visibly confused upon hearing a name she didn't recognize be spoken. "Who's Dashy?" Diamond looked down at the pet, studying the rather rugged looking thing as her optics lit up. None the less, Diamond had once owned a pet back when she was smaller. So instead of placing The Pet down, she squeezed it like she did her own, "Ohh! I don't remember what my last pet was like, It's been so long...." She grinned greatly, seemingly forgetting about her current mission for the moment until she looked to Sortie. "Oh, right, forgive my sudden behavior. Anyways, let's go. You're coming with us too you adorable little- ahem. Forward." She rubbed the head of the fox and set her down on the ground gently before walking over to the groundbridge controls. Looking for a place that hasn't been scouted much, she finally opened the bridge and nodded towards it, gesturing the two to follow into it. Here

Walking down the hall in a good mood, Diamond held her arms behind her head and glanced around the room before stopping at the opening. Skyspray was yelling and ranting on about something. Then again, once she looked around she spotted a pretty good reason why he was upset. I would be too.... Silently creeping around him like a mouse slipping past a cat. Popping up next to Sortie, she whispered quietly while keeping her optics on Sky.
"Hey, Sortie, I have a mission for you. You're coming with me to scout out a few energon mines. Who knows, maybe we can engage some rogue cons there?" She waited for a response, raising a ridge when Sky tried to calm down, or probably not. Instinctively, she placed a servo behind her back and onto the cross of her sniper and scythe, in case someone decided to shoot.

A partner huh? Brilliant. Diamond wasn't all for the idea, but knew it was probably best for her health. Upon seeing him leave suddenly hot headed, Diamond wasn't confused much at all being that the base was in constant negativity. Taking a moment to glance around her surroundings, she left shortly after, walking down a different route to head to the halls. Of course it didn't lower her chance of walking right into the fringe, but she didn't really care as she could handle herself well.

The femme let off a soft 'tsk' as she was set down, looking up at him only to fully realize his shere height that towered over her own. Well that was interesting.
"Alright, so what are my orders?" She placed her servos on her hips, smiling up at him as she patiently waited for some sort of command. Would she have to work in a team with the others? Dia hoped not, she was more of a loner than she was a teammate, but she wouldn't argue with it, since it would help her people skills come the time of need.

Diamond kept herself from giggling like an over joyed sparkling, feeling the movements on her back and focusing on them to relax. So this is what true happiness felt like huh? It's been so long since she felt that way, and she wasn't sure she'd be fluctuating the feeling often as life goes on. Pulling back again, she sighed and studied his face once more. Drunk on love, was it? Yeah, she was pretty sure, and Sky's expression proved it. Whimsical and lost. Oh how adorable he was.
"We better get going. The sooner we finish your toy of a space ship the better." She winked playfully, feeling rather good about herself for once and decided to let that recent programming purpose peep out a little. Her optics brightened against her cheerful face, and her smile didn't falter at all. Was it always this easy?

Diamond placed hr servos on either side of his helm, pressing his face firm against hers for another long and blissful moment before hugging his neck. She pulled away slowly as a tease, looking at his lips before into his optics again. She looked for a good long while, taking a sero and brushing her thumb over his cheek before she did something absurdly unique.
She smiled.
"This is by far the craziest thing I have ever thought..." She paused, shifting herself to better face him, "But I think I'm in love...." She couldn't stop smiling now, that was an achievement she longed to see, and not even a fake smile looked bright. They were always dim, and never showed their tru potential, even the tiny ones were rare, but this... a great big smile sure was a milestone. But instead of peeling herself off of him, she just shared her intake with him again, this time making it a fuller and more sincere contact.
