Lake Richwood Located in the southern areas of Alaska, Lake Richwood is an native american reserve. The areas around and within are forest, and have glassy water blue lakes. In Native American legends, gods from the skies enchanted the water and ground with shards of unknown material. Although, this is proven to be the minerals underneath the ground, and, make the cavern system below the lake glow ever so slightly.
Exiting a groundbridge, Crashcourse had herself preoccupied studying her holomap. The area was told to be infested with a mutated mineral below the ground. Crash figured it would be nice of her to get some for Chaff, kinda as a gift. She mentally shrugged to herself, not certain if it would lean her closer to the 'friend' status.
Sighing silently through her facemask, Crash Began to walk through the forest, walking in a random direction- only hopeful to come out somewhere.

Cut-Up was already in the energon area, leaning against the wall, his axe being sharpened on his arm, the sound of his action being quite audible. The vehicon's dim outline was able to bee seen, as well as his axe being sharpened on his fore-arm. The vehicon's visor was focused on the axe, it's rhythm study as he spoke to the approaching femme.
"What are you doing in this area? The vehicon patrol's got this place covered--as well as me. Newbie, it makes me raise an optic ridge when I see you poking around like this. Unless someone sent you here..." Cut-Up trailed off, his yellow scars visible in the dim moon-light. He was about a foot taller then most vehicons, though Crashcourse easily stood over him. Cut-Up continued to sharpen his axe, in such a way that another particular vehicon might, his cousin's method for caring for a weapon practically displayed out in front.
Cut-Up finally lifted his visor to face the femme, though his axe-sharpening continued.

'Nobody sent me.' Crash course motioned her servos with ease, holding no hesitation in the transition. She hadn't noticed the nech at first, so she could have Waller right past him without noticing. The 30 foot femme stopped, then turned. 'What makes you think someone sent me, better yet classify me as a newbie?'

Cut-Up gave a sigh, as he listened to Crashcourses reasoning. He kept sharpening his axe, until he gently lowered it to his side.
"Look at your paint. It's still shiny, and you haven't boughed or given it finish from your last fight. Until that happens, you're tagged as a 'newbie,' since you are about as new as your armor. Even if you are sergeant in the ranks, and a triple changer, it does not change who you really are Crashcourse---" Cut-Up shrugged, as for a moment he looked to the ground. Some small pockets of hatred crept into his systems as he got to the part where he told her something, the air around them tensing up as he remained in the shadows but his visor locked onto her.
"Or should I really even bother to call you that?" Cut-Up said distantly, like he was atop a rock, looking down to her with a disappointed expression. Cut-Up was the first to know of the small theory Vos had conjured up---and Vos had told him what he had thought. Cut-Up was his left hand man, a substitute for some backup for the mech. Cut-Up had helped track Crashcourse down, and the longer he had taken to do so, the more he had been given time to think over Vos's points of how she could be a spy---Cut-Up found them all relevant. She was the enemy, and she had been in cover for too long. Cut-Up had been given the grace of exchanging the idea of planting more vehicon patrols here and there--so when he did find Crashcourse, and upon his signal, they would come. As for Vos? the mech was in the shadows so far, thanks to his alt-mode. The vehicons hadn't arrived yet, but the air-borns were most-likely circling around from the kilometers they were away from Vut-Up's location.

'Yes! I have nicknames!' Crash course motioned, then shrugging. 'Look, if your want in' me out of your patrol area, I'll leave. Okay? Does that satisfy you' Once again, Crash motioned with ease, holding the same optical expression like normal. Due to her whole face mask, it was near to impossible to see what layer behind the metal covering. Her excuse was nothing. It was wrecked from a demolition job.

Cut-Up just scowled behind his mask, his yellow glow lighting up slightly as he clenched his fists. His optics blaring behind his mask.
"I know you have nicknames. We all do. Except yours is 'Ast'." Cut-Up kept his optics glued to her form, As his own engine began to rev, the voice emitting from his mask slightly raspy thanks to how his mask was made. Cut-Up narrowed his optics as he took a small step back, dragging his foot across the dirt as he fully faced her.
"It's not that it's a bad name, 'Ast', it's just that I know only tne femme who has that name, and my resources point exactly in 'Astrinal's' direction. In other words, yours. You're under arrest, spy, incase you are going to be unable to comprehend that. I had some hopes for a triple changer like you making a difference, but if you're an Autobot to the core, I have orders from the DJD to bring you to their position." Cut-Up paused, still making sure he had all eyes on Astrinal. He was perfectly aware of what was infant, behind, and to the sides of him, and he knew a few quick-kill tricks she might pull.
"I'm not going to ask you to not struggle--because I know that's in your energon, and is, regrettably, the only good feature I can and will ever see from you." Cut-Up said steadily, his fighting stance was quite similar to Taggon's, thought here was no telling if it was identical. As for the patrol of vehicons? They would come in about ten minutes, if they kept flying.

Crashcourse remained silent, unsure of how to react. Wait, was she being accused of high treason?! Breaking the silence not long after, she responded. 'Wait, did you- are you- what in the name of primus is this?! Who's Astrinal?! And why would she want to be called Ast?! Look- Crash began to walk backwards as well. 'I'm just gonna' part ways, and act like NONE of this confusion and mix up happened. Alright? Okay?

Cut-Up was unimpressed by the femme's efforts to cover herself up. He knew full well she was Astrinal, thanks to the information that Vos had given her. Cut-Up decided if she was going to just keep her act up, she could do that. Cut-Up stepped forward as she backed away. Cut-Up activated a small device within him, it was a mobile signal jammer. A handy little trinket he liked to use as he was about to engage in prey, so that there would be no calling for help. He continued to step forth, one throwing Axe in his hand.
"If you are who you claim, then you are going to be waiting with me right here without further a due. I don't care what your excuse is, I have orders, and I am carrying them out." Cut-Up stated, clearly still firm in his tone. He never let his visor leave her form, since he knew she cold be a pocketful of tricks, waiting to happen. If he was going to do his job, he would do it cautiously.

stretching her arms into the air, Crash let a few gears click and move in the movement. In cover of this, the gearsin Crash's back would unfold and bend back, producing two large rocket launchers. They remained hidden behind her back, then shrugged once again. 'Okay! I'll stand in place' she motioned. But Cut up was in arms reach which made her job easy. Accidently dropping a knife, which had been secured on her belt, Crash bent over to pick it up. But the two rocket launchers soon appear, which they produced a volley ofrockets in cut up's direction.
Jumping back to create space, Crashcourse's launchers coiled in there full combat position, directly on her shoulderpads. Letting the launchers reload, Crashcourse's let servo transformed into a Path Blaster, which would follow up behind the Rockets. She then began backing up slowly, creating space for her to work with.

((Sorry---but I sorta knew you'd do something like that.))
Crashcourse was a twenty nine foot tall triple-changer, who had proven in her files she knew moves. I was the fact that she was also Astrinal that would make any buffoon know better then approaching her without several plans. Cut-Up hadn't needed Vos to tell him of this, but much like his cousin, Cut-Up came prepared, and was sometimes one-step ahead of the enemy. While Taggon invested most of his gadgetry incase of aggressive emergencies, Cut-Up preferred a more defensive perk, since he would rather take and deal damage evenly. As he had come to this place, Cut-Up had kept another gadget of his ready, it was a shield. It was not a hand-held device, but it was a force-field that he turned on when around his tricksy enemies. The force-field was dependable, able to take thunderous hits from even things such as plasma missiles. Cut-Up watched as Crashcourse put her servos up, but he heard the faint clicks of her rockets coming into place. His audios were keen to most movement, something that he had been born with, back on the Junlge Planet. Cut-=Up remained where he was though, as Crashcourse knelt down to unleash her rockets to end him, Cut-Up activated his shield by triggering his own gears.
The explosions hit their marks, the smoke coming up. The impact nonetheless sent Cut-Up flying backward some, though he immediately hid behind the rock which was just ahead of him now, the very substance which he had been leaning on. If Crashcourse thought that ending a member of the Four-O-Ninth would be this easy, Cut-Up was intending to teach her otherwise. This wasn't a fight to him though, this was an endurance test. Cut-Up's shield had been spent entirely on such close distances, and was in need of some recharging, which Cut-Up prohibited as he selected his own weapons. Cut-Up let the fire burn more, his audios keened very well for Crashcourses next maneuver as he crept off, away from where he supposedly died. He stealthily kept moving around in the rocky terrain for another exit so he could circle around of get a good sight on Crashcourse. Using the rocks as cover would be simple--hiding behind another, Cut-Up looked to another nearby large rock. He would have to be careful.

((Drat >.< Eh, well, this gives me a chance to prove how much I've- renovated Ast. Not only is she a triplechanger, but her armor can do some cool shiz. *giggles*))
Drawing back her path blaster, Crashcourse didn't drop her guard one bit. She didn't boil into laughter, or even move from her current position. From behind her facemask, the 30ft. tall femme closed her optics and listened. Not for the air, or the life forms around, but any form of scrapping sounds coming from the boulders around her and in front. She stood still, almost as if she wasn't even alive. Then, hitting her audio receptors, Crash picked up the lightest footsteps coming from the terrain. She smiled behind her mask, knowing exactly where he was. But, like any good strategist, she acted like she didn't notice. Doing what any baffoon would do, Crash turned her backplate and walked towards the forest. But, she maintained a steady fix on Cut-up's noise patterns.

((Really, I've had too much experience with rocket-launcher people to not come well equipped. But Still---))
Cut-Up continued to let his shield recharge as he remained in one place, also keening his audios for Astrinal's sounds. He got nothing, which made him almost disappointed. However, he did not stop where he was and sit down, bummed. Instead, the vehicon switched to heat vision with his helmet functions. Spotting Astrinal out quite easily, and how many obstacles he had to look through to see her heat signature, Cut-Up gained the satisfying information that his position was not entirely visible for where she was. The top half of the rock was, but as for the bottom half--he had temporarily achieved a kind of invisibility. So far, all AStrinal knew was that he was extinct. Admittedly, Cut-Up did wonder why she was remaining where she was, looking off in the distance, but as he held stone still himself, he knew she wasn't here to go energon picking, or was enjoying the scenery. No one did that after someone died. So Cut-Up made the small addumption that there was at least a percentage of a chance she knew that he was still online, seeing as she hadn't budged from her position, and the outline of her helm pointed another way.
With the little tip from common sense, Cut-Up picked up a small rock which was just right beside his foot, soundlessly maneuvering as he even lowered his venting breath to an almost but silent level, where even the keenest audios from the shortest distance would have trouble hearing. Cut-Up then gave a light lower hand toss, in a professional way as to let the rock fly from his servo but hit the ground all the while remaining out of Astrinal's approximated line of site as it made small, soft, and low hits to the ground, like very light footsteps. The rock came to the ever so slightest and indistinguishable from Astrinal's position stop, about two large boulders from Cut-Up's own location. Taking a breath, Cut-Up had lowered his form slightly, wordlessly and extremely silently drawing a very long and large sniper rifle out of his subspace, all the while being careful to be as quiet as well as behind the rock. it took no gears to bring out the rifle, which was thicker and more powerful then even a Nucleon Charge rifle, but Cut-Up took quiet and slow time readying the large gun for use. Counting the seconds in which his prey would avert her gaze to the rock perhaps, far enough away from him so that she wouldn't notice about a quarter of a sniper rifle barrel poking out just beside the large rock he was behind, and taking aim at her. Cut-Up three shots for the femme's neck. Even if she had extremely tough armor, and extremely fast reflexes, realistically, seeing a sniper rifle pointed at her with the power and range this one had would take either luck or maybe some time control in order for Cut-Up to miss at least one mark with the precision he had been trained for.

When the rock made contact with the other boulder, Astrinal's movements recoiled and moved swiftly. However, she didn't fix on the rock's location, but the rifle moments before it shot off three rounds. Immediatly, Astrinal threw herself to the ground, which prevented one to hit in the cross fire. The other two made contact, but not in Cut up's desired location. Soon after, Astrinal darted for the nearest cover, which ended up being a boulder. She slid after a few large strides, then presuming she was 'covered'.

Cut-Up mumbled a few things to himself as he looked to the small countdown in the corner of his visor. The mumbles weren't herbal by AStrinal, at least not where she was. Cut-Up cocked his rifle, still using his heat-signature detectors. He saw where Astrinal was once again--she had dived down, and unfortunately for her, she was closer to energon crystals then he was. He was on higher ground, and she had gone where there was more energon. Cut-Up grinned, placing his rifle down as to acquire a grenade off his belt, all the while remaining in the shadows of his rock. Cut-Up uncapped the grenade, tossing it to a few energon crystals below, knowing a chain reaction of explosions would either get Astrinal extremely wounded at such a close distance, or she would get rocks toppled on her. He had thrown the grenade so that it was infant of the rock which she resided behind, right were there was an energon crystal, and many others. It was true that the energon was slightly---unusual, but Cut-Up was willing to work hard for his prey--
It was then that Cut-Up realized that there were a few energon crystals near his position. Cut-Up cursed to himself as he picked up his gun, bolting to more distant cover as he heard the explosion sound, all the energon around the area creating a humungous blast. Unless Astrinal had a spar 'super-dee-dooper anti-explosive lotion' on her, she was going to be experiencing a blast about as big as a large bomb. Even if she retreated to the sky, she was going to be badly hurt.

For a little while, Astrinal thought she had a good spot going for her. Although it was on low ground, she had two sides covered for her. She turned her helm just a bit, Astrinal caught the glimpse of a small, yet glimmer of a crystal. Using her armored servo to push aside a rock or two, Astrinal soon realized that it was energon. The problem? She realized to soon. With the exquivilant of a bomb resting right next to her, Astrinal bolted out of cover moments before the grenade went off. She had then converted into her F-22 alternative mode and blasted off. She had taken off a moment to late, which the blast took it's toll on Astrinal's back thrusters. Smoke emitted from her right engine, which followed with her descend.
Kabam
Transforming moments before she crashed, Astrinal rolled in a heap of smoke. Part of Astrinal's back was fried, and a good sized piece of armor gone. Staggering to her feet, she looked around. She then turned on her radio and announced a set of words. "Alright, *scramble* Cut-so-rambo, Let's stop hiding and start playing fair. *scramble*" Astrinal popped her armored servos, the knuckles popping. "Why are you *scramble* Poking the Bear? *scramble* I didn't ask for this, did I?"

Cut-Up had rolled his way into he nearby woods, just adjacent to the minding field, and past that after a few paces was none other then lake Richwood. Cut-Up gave a huff of breath, as he studied himself, holding still. He was surrounded in greenery, and had good cover with his surroundings. Honestly, he was a good distance from Astrinal, which meant he had the advantage with his sniper rifle once again, since she had nowhere to dive, and no way of dodging. More good news was that his shield was a third of the way charged, which meant he would be able to have some nice quick defense soon if need be. The cavalry was going to be showing up extremely soon, the clock was ticking.
The femme then asked for him to come out after calling him the saddest nickname he had ever heard, then quickly stating that he should start playing fair before saying he was poking a stick at a bear. Without hesitation, Cut-Up scoped in on her, and now with the precision and cover he had required, with the odds of her possibly seeing him extremely low thanks to the shadows and the trees which he ducked in, Cut-Up fired for her neck twice, and another time for her shoulder joint, knowing the power of his gun would send the streaking bullet through her shoulder's inner workings and out the other end, supplying her with decent pain.
Cut-Up found Astrinal's logic flawed. First, she had used rocket launchers on him to finish him off quickly, before she challenged him to come out and play it fair. Excuse me? Cut-up had thought. Crash course was a thirty foot tall femme, armed with weapons especially made for crushing people right infant of her. Her body design was to take hits from close or far range, though picking at her with his sniper rifle was a more strategic thing to do, since it was designed to get past any armor. Crash course was a brawler classed femme, even if he was a hunter and had honor, Cut-Up was not just going to walk up to a femme much larger and equipped just to play fair. She hadn't started fair, so she didn't get fair.

Hearing the shots go off, Two of Cut-up's shots hit home. The single shot to her shoulderpad emitted with a 'crack' of a sound, then followed by a smoking hole through the armor. It oozed with energon, no doubt, but it didn't stop Astrinal from turning her helm. That was a mistake, she thought. Soon after, a sniper shot darted straight through her neck, blazing a clean hole all the way through. Astrinal staggered, clutching her neck as it began to bleed. She swore she was choking, but she tried her hardest to ignore the pain.
Call for help, do something! she thought. Taking a few tripping steps, Astrinal charged for the tree line.
((Gah! She can't really do anything when Cut-up's in far combat XD Oh well.))

((In his eyes, you had this coming.))
Cut-Up grinned behind his helmet as Crashcourse began to run as his shots made their marks perfectly. Cut-Up's heat vision was activated once again, as he tracked her movement from afar. Though Cut-Up often didn't like using sniper rifles, and he was not F-28, he was liking the power of this rifle. Even though he knew it's disgusting origins, he didn't mind it at all. Cut-up kept maneuvering in the shadows of his own side of the rest, while Astrinal began to run into hers. His signal blockers were still up, so that was good. AS for her running tactic? She was going straight forward. Cut-Up hones in on her once more, and fired for the exposed point in her leg which the knee was right on top of. His shot was to disable her knee cap from behind, and he wasted no time to endeavor with precision for the other. For his third shot, he pulled his trigger with his barrel aimed for her back, right where her rocket launchers were stored. Decepticon scum this, Autobot. If his weapon hit the rockets within, she would be toasted a secondary time.
Cut-Up's gaze still followed her, as he returned to running so that he could pursue her, but from a distance, all the while keeping her in the radius that would block her signals. In the corner screen of Cut-Up's visor, a small red light flashed once before flashing blue, signaling that the calvary had just arrived, causing the vehicon to smile once more as he reloaded and cocked his sniper rifle.
---------------
As AStrinal ran, or came to a stop depending on if her knees caps were destroyed or not, the sound of something soaring overhead would be audible, as six drones transformed and landed individually within twenty yards of her, each staying far apart, after Cut-Up had fired his shots. There was no chance they would be injured by the previous attack, as their arms transformed into large blasters, especially made for biting through tough armors. Threee vehicons stayed infant of Astrinal, pointing their weapons before firing at her chest at once, while the other three fled to the sides, their intention to outflank her at they fired for her sides as well, all the while keeping a good distance.

((Eyup, practically useless in long range cx))
KABOOOMMMM
Little did Cut-up know it, but there were more than just a 'few' rockets held in just one of those launchers. one of the canisters were for taking out squadrons, and could cover more grand than an average rocket. The rocket went off, creating a chain reaction The explosion radius, would be enough to make a crater, and effect the vehicons that had landed in front of her. Black Smoke erupted soon afterwards, making it hard for anyone to see.
Then, through Cut-up's heat visors, both the heat signature and life signal disappeared.
Meanwhile, in the smoke, Crashcourse struggled to push herself on her peds. Her back was ripped off, well, the first two layers. The thickest layer (the third) was still present. it was her last line of defense. Both her rocket launchers were also taken out, which caused the smoking. Activating her mace in one servo, Crashcourse rushed the hopefully blinded vehicons. Using her mace to casually smash the first vehicon into the ground, Crashcourse would swing her armored servo to grab another.

((I have had the tar whipped out of Taggon at long range before--- I know the feel. Still, I'm not taking any underestimations that you still could win this battle.))
Cut-Up's screen did indeed light up as his shot took it's effect. Keep it up Cuts. Cut-Up encouraged himself as he deactivated his heat-vision ability that was in his visor. This wasn't over, despite how he was gaining victory. Cut-Up watched as Crashcourse desperately tried to desecrate his ground force brethren. Cut-Up had been running ever so slightly closer to her position, still out of sight, but still able to keep her in the radius of signal blocking so there was no calling for her Autopbot friends. Also, his shield was charged two-thirds of the way, which was more good news. So far, today was a good day to be a vehicon. Cut-Up aimed for Astrinal's neck once more, shooting with timing so that as she lowered her form to bash a vehicon, he would be letting a bullet spiral through her neck. Cut-Up sent another two shots for her upper shoulder once more, around the same place he had fired his first bullet, which had been meant to make her arm be more and more tricky to use, with the inner mechanisms being destroyed. Or that was what Cut-Up was attempting to do a second time.
Astrinal's bash to the first vehicon hit the poor soldier right in the helm, sending energon squirting everywhere as he screamed his last. The other vehicon whom she grabbed at rolled for the side, barely evading her grab for him. As for the vehicon next to him, who had been to but the left of his now fallen brother, both vehicons joined one another in a fiercsome counter attack, blasting their powerful guns for Astrinal's chest or abdomen armor, as they sought to avenge their lost ally, sprinting to the sides as they did so.
"FOR THE DECEPTICONS BROTHERS!" Another vehicon called from the behind Astrinal. The rocket blasts had indeed injured them, causing their armor to be slightly battered, but the two behind Astrinal powered on, determined to work for their cause as long as they could. The vehicons also went opposite directions, blasting their identical weapons for Astrinal's axilla, once it was exposed with her grabbing and swinging her mace.
