Dart looked up, then, a little after Graphene, noticed the newcomer. Graphene's wariness wasn't lost on him, but he wasn't armed, and while he wasn't armed, he had very slightly more than his utterly nonexistent chance in a fight if he wasn't caught sitting down.
He rose, content to let Graphene protect him (what other choice did he have?) but asked softly, "Is this someone we're expecting?"
If it came to it, he'd produce one of his work knives, but that would be of little help, and even a little surprise or lack of care on the part of an enemy would work in his favor. Then he changed his mind. No, he'd use his drill if it came to it. In order to do anything with either, an attacker would have to be very, very close, and a knife had little effect on armor. His drill could get through it, given time, and could get between seems as easily as a knife if he got the chance.

influx could see Dart and Graphene just ahead of him already. He could see them both and what Graphene had in his servos... a weapon. The mech transformed into his robot form, which revealed that he was also armed. Two twin swords hung at his sides, sheathed, but still there nonetheless. Several grenades, flash grenades hung from his waist, and if they paid enough attention they would notice another, bigger sword he carried on his back. However, Influx did not do more than raising his hands, letting the other two mechs know he meant no harm towards them. His optics were focused on Graphenes grenade launcher. His worry quite noticeable, as well as his surprise.
"Errr... could you put that down...?" He asked, stepping back a bit. "Im Influx, im alone, I swear. PLEASE dont blow me up..."

"Hopefully," he said to Dart unceremoniously.
He was visibly reluctant to lower his guard so quickly. Normally he'd keep his weapon trained on them a while longer, until he felt he actually trusted them. In the interest of letting Influx come to trusting him more quickly, he slowly lowered his weapon.
"Graphene," he introduced himself. "And this is Dart." He nodded to Dart.

Dart eyed Influx up and down, shifting his pedes nervously. If this mech proved an enemy, he was in trouble, and the tension showed as he shifted nervously. On the other hand, if this was a friend, he looked to be well armed, and that would be good for Dart.
He raised a servo to wave, the motion quick and abrupt. "Hello! How was your trip? We've been traveling forever, seems like. Say, you're not a medic, are you? That would be perfect. I nee-" he broke off, realizing belatedly that announcing he was injured to random strangers was probably ill-advised.

Influx visibly relaxed as soon as Graphene lowered his weapon, and he slowly walked towards them, getting closer. He kept a relaxed posture.
"I'm glad to finally meet you guys, and... no, I am afraid i'm no medic, but i know the basics of first aid." He answered Dart. "My trip was... eh, long, tiring, and very lonely. I couldn't wait to finally get here and meet you guys in person."
"I assume you know of resources we can use nearby?, or were these coordinates random?, Are your tanks full?, I can offer a very basic Energon scanner" he said, pulling it out from his subspace and offering it to Dart and Graphene.. He didn't have much to offer, but that was something.

Insert face into palm. As if it couldn't get any worse working with a newbie to the neutral survivalist's life. He had half a mind to raise the gun back up just to scare some sense into Dart. The conversation didn't instill much confidence in the trio, either. Idle chatter about travel details, which he was largely disinterested in, was just the way to break the ice between them. This was turning out to be a swell time. He had the sharp and painful thought to just take advantage of the both of them: blast them open here and now and take whatever few supplies Influx had to offer, live off of both Dart and Influx's combined energon reserves for the next few months while he used Influx's handy-dandy scanner to slowly build up a new emergency supply, and then go back to sight-seeing the ravaged Earthlet home world like none of this had ever happened. His conscience nudged the thought out of mind, though not before he'd dwelled on it long enough to consider the benefits.
"Excuse the kid. We're just fine on fuel. But you got one thing right. This place was chosen randomly." He elected to keep the information about using this place to test the plausibility of Influx's claim of neutrality to himself. "Well, spill. Why and how did you get here? And if you haven't left yet, there's a reason. You said you just landed here when we first got in contact. I'm assuming that means your means of getting here isn't a viable option for leaving."

Influx listened to Graphene as he spoke, walking besides him.
"It's a long story, why I came, i don't think it'd be very enjoyable to listen to" He said, shrugging. "But basically, i was looking for a planet to land on, i had been travelling for while and my shuttle was in the Scrap, so I decided crash landing here was a better option than it suddenly dying on me in the middle of nowhere in space" Influx sighed. "So yeah, my ship isn't more than wreckage right now, and it's in the middle of a desert, i was kicked out of there by some Autobots, a few of them. They didn't attack me but they told me to get the Frag out with gentler words, so I tried to find other neutrals, I'm not much of a loner, and you answered, and here I am... So you did guess correctly that my means to leave aren't viable anymore, but i don't really want to leave the planet, not for now anyways. Do you?"
He had avoided his sorry story about looking around space for a home capable of substituting Cybertron, because it was clearly way too pathetic to tell some barely strangers about it, and also, the fact that he was a mnemosurgeon... it would probably not inspire confidence on himself, so he didn't know if he should say it. If he kept it to himself they might think he would try to use it against them later on or something.
