Tortuguero National Park is a National Park in the Limon Province of Costa Rica. It is situated within the Tortuguero Conservation Area of the northeastern part of the country. Despite its remote location, it is the third-most visited park in Costa Rica, reached only by airplane or boat. The park has a large variety of biological diversity due to the existence within the reserve of eleven different habitats, including rainforest, mangrove forests, swamps, beaches, and lagoons. Located in a tropical climate, it is very humid, and receives up to 250 inches (6,400 mm) of rain a year.
It is over this place, particularly a warm, vibrantly green swamp, that a Cybertronian ship emerges, billowing with flames and smoke, through a space-bridge portal. The vessel is relatively small by Cybertronian standards, but, then, that may well be because the tail-end of the ship is gone entirely, a comet's-trail of liquifying slag and fire the only evidence it had ever existed to begin with.
The ship plummets, arcing over the beautiful terrain to smash into the shallows of a lagoon, kicking up a great ploom of sand and water, but harming little more than a few few and an elderly heron.....
The wreck simply sits for a moment, steam rising off of its scorched form, then a hatch open midway down the side of its front. A slender white figure hauls itself free, grasping the hull of the ship and pulling itself up the side. The figure simply sits for a moment, observing the scenery, then declares, in a language that has no basis on Earth:
"Wonderful. I am stranded, but I'm stranded in a tropical paradise. I'll rust to death, but I'll do it with a good view..."

Earth does tend to have good views to look at! Now, if you want to see more of them I'd suggest getting off your ship! Wading through a bit of shallow water won't hurt you too bad!
A voice yelled to Kestael in the same language the slim mech had spoken in. The origin of the voice, a blue and gold striped mech, stood on the shore about fifteen feet away. He had come running to the shore when he heard the crash.
By the way, you just ruined my attempt to create a water-powered groundbridge by crashing into the Hydro-Conductors!

Kestael twists and peers at the mech, optical ridges arching in either mild surprise or simple acknowledgement. Standing smoothly, he drops off the edge of the ruined ship and moves through the shallow water, covering the distance to shore in only a few steps.
"So the ship's computer VI actually did something right....? It was so bugged, I'd thought I'd ended up on some uninhabited world... A pleasant surprise is nice, for once."
Kestael twists to look back at the crash, polished white armor shining in the sunlight.
"Sorry about your... ...Experiment. What are the odds?"
The slight mech rests a hand on his hip, using the other to shade his gold optics as he gazes out at the forest behind the other mech.
"I don't believe I got your name. I am Kestael."
He remarks, clarion voice conversational.

Pleased to meet you Kestael. I'm Nitros... yes, the General. You may or may not have heard me. Now, sorry, but these next few moments will be rather rushed. You see, I've been stranded here for about three days and I really need to get back to Autobot base. I've kinda been dead for six years, a year being the equivalent of a solar cycle for us.
He started to wade back out into the water, towards the burning ship.
I'm going to recover as much tech as possible! Your ship wasn't equipped with Quantum Drives was it? Or perhaps a Gamma Radiator? That would be handy in making a portal.

"I- You what?"
Kestael blinks rapidly, then turns and follows Riptide, longer, slimmer legs covering the ground quickly.
It had a superluminal drive. I don't know about quantum."
Kestael frowns.
"Dead...? Would you mind telling me how exactly you're no longer dead?"
Kestael wanted to protest a great many things about this whole situation, including the scavenging of his ship, but he couldn't bring himself to do so. It was already wrecked after all.
"The whole aft is gone. We were ambushed- I was the only one to get through..... I'm not sure the drive's still there at all, much less salvagable..."

Basically I figured out a way to cheat death by downloading my mind into another body upon my untimely death. In exchange for this I lost my spark, so that means the autobots can't pick up my signal. And, because my death was so untimely, I never thought to install a communicator in this body.
He reached the ship and began to climb up it, skillfully dodging a few flames.
Superluminal? Only the speed of light then eh? And you're right, probably won't be there since a superluminal drive is usually located in the aft.
He reached the top of the ship and sighed.
The controls to activate the superluminal drives are located in the cockpit right? If they are still intact I can take them out and at least we'll have a device to start the groundbridge. Considering if I can make a portal out of wood and water... you don't mind me doing this right? I don't know any of the history between you and this ship, and I understand that one can become attached. If you don't want me messing with it, by all means tell me.
He said as he paused in his movements, just outside the cockpit. Nitros then pondered an idea for a moment.
Say, I'm guessing you still have a communicator right? Or perhaps your ship's is still intact? I don't know if the base is still there or if the other bots are even still alive, but I do remember the Earth Autobot comm number. It's risky, especially since I don't know if the cons have completely taken over, but we can try and contact the bots by using your comm. Makes more sense than trying to make a groundbridge out of water.

"I do have my comm. And it just so happens, you are extremely lucky."
There is a soft popping sound, and suddenly Kestael is standing in front of Nitros several paces, leaned against the soot-stained, sparking cockpit M.C.D.
"As I was born equipped with my own personal teleportation device...."
The slender bot places a hand on his abdomen.
"Well, equipped implies it to be removable, when I can assure you it is quite integrated and essential to my well-being. But, if you can rig some sort of co-ordinate feed.... I'm perfectly decent with tech, but I cannot claim to have the knowledge or materials needed to create something like that myself."
Kestael straightens, stepping to the side and skirting the tipped-over pilot's seat.
"I could be your own personal portal, if sending a broadcast out is as risky as you say...."

So you're basically a walking, talking, living transporter? My friend, you are one technological marvel. Now, do you have some sort of control panel you can use to type in coordinates? If not I'm sure I could build a control panel to hook up to your internal navigation computer or however this works.
Nitros was still in absolute amazement at the mech's revelation. He had never heard of such a thing, a Cybertronian who could teleport without the use of a groundbridge. Of course, there was rumors of the decepticon Skywarp being able to do it, but Nitros had never witnessed it himself and therefore dismissed it as rumor.

Kestael shrugs, standing one foot raised atop the overturned chair.
"Efforts were made to determine the source of my gift...."
He bites his lower lip, posture shifting slightly.
"They were.... Inconclusive. No passive scanner on-hand could isolate the precise location of the organ responsible, if indeed it was such as we suspected.... And I did not wish to have any sort of surgery. It would have been a bad idea anyway. It behaves like a defense-mechanism to an extent... When I am under duress, it is prone to... Outbursts.... Of such nature as to possibly be fatal to me, the surgeon, or both."
Kestael's gold optics, for they were distinctly gold, not yellow or orange, flit upwards, as though he's recalling a specific incident.
"We DID manage rather early on to learn that my processor controls its function directly. All I need is a visual. And an accurate one. I'm not sure coordinates would do.... It'd be up to you to find some way to reconfigure the information like that. And if you do, be careful, or we're liable to pop up in a wall somewhere."[/font]

Hmm, perhaps the mystery of your teleportation powers can be solved one day. Anyways, I should be able to provide a visual. Give me a second...
His visor slid over his optics. A circle appeared on the visor screen over his right optic. A beam flashed from the circle and projected onto the part of the ship they were standing on. Soon, a mini holographic version of the Arc's medbay appeared at their feet.
Hurry, I'm projecting a memory of the base, but doing this is rather taxing on my energon reserves. Memorize the image and do whatever you do to make us teleport.
His voice came out as strained, and his optic shutters closed tighter in determination to keep the memory holo up.

A large pod looking thing falls through the sky as it pummels into the ground knocking down a few trees, and nearly hitting some animals as the pod's hatch lock busted open, four mechs are laying inside. One of which is a legend, Warpath. As the mechs slowly reactivate...

Kestael studies the image closely for nearly a cycle, gold optics flickering and roaming as he tries to take the information in as thoroughly as possible. He's about to turn and tell Riptide to brace himself and get over any issues with personal space when a distant crash shakes the ship beneath his peds and causes ripples in the water below.
"What was that?"
He whips around almost at the same time the noise registers with his audio-receptors, whipping a long, thin sword out the way a well-practiced magician whips out flowers or a flock of doves.

The pod hatch opens, as four mechs exit the pod as they survey the area. Warpath looked around as he pointed out "Well, it seem's we aren't on Cybertron anymore... I think... Did someone grow a farm while we were gone?... Anyways... I'm looking to BLAST SOME CON HEADS... Some of the squad laughed to themselves as they continued scanning the area, Warpath bringing out his EMP Shotgun. As he looked around, scanning as his Visor went from Blue to Greenish, for his scanning mode. Scanning for Cybertronians. One of the team-mates found something, it was a small Chipmunk. As one of the team members fired their blasters, nearly missing it. The sound was loud. Warpath walked up to the soldier and spoke "What did ya fin-... Soldier did you almost kill a small creature again... YOU KABLAMMED A SMALL HARMLESS CREATURE!?" As he yelled, any Autobots nearby can know it was Warpath...

(On my alt, Warpath.) Warpath glaring at the Soldier who almost killed a Chipmunk he continued scanning, as he found some trace of Energon. Warpath walked into the pod and grabbed a green flare gun(Autobot flare) as he shot it into the air. The Squad patrolled a 16 meter area of the pod, waiting for something to happen. Warpath looking around he spoke as he said "Aw man! I don't think anyone is coming soon... In the meantime lock and load soldiers! Don't know when we need to BLAST A CON!"

That was Warpath. I could recognize his voice anywhere. How many people can you teleport at a time? I would feel wrong about just leaving him here.
Nitros said as he dissipated the hologram and sighed with relief.

"As many as I could touch. It has to be a conscious thing, mind you. And seeing as I have only two arms...... It depends upon the size. If they were around your size, perhaps three.... But with Warpath, and, I would presume, other soldiers, unless he's yelling at himself, wouldn't it be fairly safe to simply contact this base of yours...? Four or more 'bots, one a rather formidable tank, ought to be able to fight off Decepticons long enough to enter a groundbridge...."
Kestael raised his slender optical ridges, gesturing towards the sight of the crash.

Warpath raised his hand as he heard motion. One of the squad members place a device, all in range of it can see an X-ray of the area for Energon Signals, two detected nearby. They all arm their weapons as Warpath grabs his thermo Rocket launcher as he powered his rockets up, inside the pod, he finds a riot cannon in a crate as he charged his Thermo Rocket launcher. Looking around. "Survey the area! Get ready for some action!' He spoke also charging his chest cannon.

Now that we have reinforcements, yes, contacting the base would be our best move.
He then heard Warpath's voice again and sighed, jumping off the top of the ship and landing in the water.
Of course, contacting the base would be useless if Warpath and company blow us up first!
Nitros ran out of the water and followed to where the flare came from, which was very close-by. He expected Kestael to follow.

Kestael drops off the ship and lands neatly on his peds, making a face as water splashes his chassis. He follows Nitros at a jog, easily catching up to the stockier bot. One advantage of being built like a femme... For once, he decides, shouting is probably the best option.
"Hold fire!"
He exclaims
"We're Autobots."

Hearing the shout, they slightly lower their weapons, the humming slowed as their weapons were still equipped as Warpath walked towards the noise with two other Soldiers, when they finally met up Warpath spoke. "Who are you? We were going to almost KABAM your parts all over the place..." He spoke as his visor was staring into Kestael's optics as his faceplate stood strong as his weapon was armed, just in case...
