Sky had been foolish enough to shoot at Kaon's chest, the same chest with the generator built in. Kaon had forseen someone trying to shoot his weakest body part, and protected it with a personal shield which siphoned power from said generator to run, blocking his shots, and unleashing a shock towards his shotgun from the shield due to the close range, trying to short it out. But he wasn't done there, the attack on his crotch made contact and he staggered back a few steps, before lashing out again with his sword, trying to slice Sky's leg first, then turn and stab him upwards into his right chaingun, avoiding most of the LMG shots due to him moving to the side of the weapon itself.
If he pierced the weapon he would try and rip it off, turn once more and hit Sky in the face with it. On the other hand if he didn't he would turn and try yet another stab.

Well, this took an interesting turn, not that he hadn't expected it though. The shield was something he should have expected but you can't succeed with everything you do. The sword had been an inch from hitting his leg but he had moved it just in time to avoid it, although his chaingun took a hit instead. It almost got pulled off but not quite as the joint which kept it in place was pretty strong and flexible. And as the other stab came towards him he jumped a little bit backwards to get out of range. His chest cannon was still charging up, which was a good thing and he aimed the LMG at Kaon once again and fired it along with a couple of mini-rockets from his shoulders.
Sky then threw the LMG straight for Kaon as he ran after it, forming an energon sword in his servo which he used to slash at Kaon's tesla coils while at the same time firing a grenade from his knee mounted grenade launcher, headed straight for Kaon's stomach area. His arms had some burn marks from the electricity which made them not as powerful as they could be. Sky would also get hit in the explosion but his explosive resistant armor allowed him to ignore it as of now.
Soo... How is life? Any good experiments lately?

Well... Storm will soon be one. He tells him, before getting hit by a few rockets and bullets fired by his son. With the LMG flyign at him, Kaon sliced downards with his sword, cutting the LMG in two, and parrying Sky's blade. The explosion knocked him back slightly, but didn't keep him from launching not 100, not 200, not even 1000, but 3000 volts directly as Sky's chestplate straight through the smoke left from the explosion, aiming to put Sky in a quick stasis lock.

Well, ignoring the pain didn't really work this time. Not when you get 3000 volts through your body. He stumbled forwards a little bit before firing his chest cannon at Kaon. The charge wasn't that powerful but it would still severly damage the part it hit, and it was aimed at Kaon's shoulder. Then he fell backwards as his systems shorted out and required a reboot which would take a couple of minutes.

Kaon smiled as his son began to spasm and short out, before he was blown backwards by the chest blast. When the light from the blast cleared, his right coil and upper arm through shoulder was fried, black and charred. Electricity barely crackled from his coil and he almost raged, grabbing his sword. "You now what they say, an eye for an eye!" He shouted, nearly breaking into maniacal laughter as he swung it down at Sky's left leg from the knee down, chopping it clean off with energon splattering everywhere, on his armor, on Sky's armor, on the ground, on the trees.
Content with his work he picked up the severed leg and opened a groundbridge, walking towards it, but before he entered, he turned and walked back. Kneeling down next to his unconscious son, he sent a small static charge from his left palm, activating Sky's distress beacon, sending a message to his family that he was in danger. "You earn your survival this time my child" and with that, he walked away into the groundbridge, exiting the area.

Sky was beginning to stir as his systems rebooted. At first he couldn't remeber what had happened but his left leg felt funny. He looked down at it and realized that it was much shorter than it used to be, and that it missed a pede too. He smashed the ground with his servo and created a small hole in the ground as well. That meant that Kaon had knocked him out and probably taken his leg as a "trophy". He could only imagine what he was doing with it right now. And that also meant that he had failed at getting Storm away from the DJD's clutches. That was the thing that made him the most furious. He grabbed a nearby tree and pulled himself up before tearing it loose and throwing it away.
SCRAP! FRAGGING SCRAP!
His rage was a bit higher than was usually recommended and that was for a good reason. The spilled energon that was staining the trees and the ground just exploded. Burnt tree and pieces of ground got sent flying from the explosion but Sky didn't care. He didn't care about his broken leg either or the fact that the smoke could be seen far away. He also didn't care that he was wasting ammo by shooting trees. He was infuriated and that was clearly visible. He tapped a little button on his arm before opening a groundbridge and jumping through. He would not rest until he had accomplished his task of bringing her back. Unless he was ordered by someone not to. The groundbridge closed beind him and a trail of energon just laid there on the ground, with burnt trees and other broken things also laying around.

As the portal opens Thunderwave walks out looked around for a while and transformed and drove away for miles upon miles. Thunderwave reached a abonden town where no human was found. Thunderwave transforms and walked to a house, pulled out his ion cannon and fired upon the house "Finaly i can shoot things where ever i want with out Shockwave up in my ass." suddenly he saw a dog came up and sat right next to him. Thunderwave pets the dog and called him Beethoven. As the day went on Thunderwave and his pet walked for a while until some Autobot drones came. Thunderwave decided to cloak and took the dog with him for many miles away from the Autobots.

After Thunderwave left he decided that he should head back to base with his new pet. "hmmmm.... I never thought Autobots were gonna be there maybe they're looking for some energon *looks at Beethoven* well no matter I guess I'll request a groundbrige back to the control room." after so many tries to contact the Nemsis, Thunderwave never got an answer. "Thunderwave to Nemsis, I need a groundbrige and I got a dog with me." Thunderwave waited for 5 Earth minutes for the Nemsis to respond.

The flat countryside had little shelter or places in which one would suspect to find energon. The typical cave or cliffside which one would find some of the life-giving blue liquid was nary to be found here, at least not on the surface of the landscape. Nay, the arrival of Autobots were not to be upon the soil, the swaths of farmland stretching almost endlessly through the small hillsides would find them too easily, despite how quiet and tedious life was here. The true treasure that the protectobots led by Taggon was under ground, and under ground was where they had gone. The lot had managed to find themselves the start of what could very well be a long line of energon over fifty feet under ground, within an old mineshaft. It was not made by man, but by Cybertronian hand. Why the work had not been completed? Taggon was disturbed by this question, but he knew he would find out.
The equipment for mining had already been brought out from ground bridges, and lanterns were lit as to work well in. Taggon himself picked up a drill, and begun the labor of harvesting energon alongside his Autobot brothers as the time began to tick by. Mining was something that Taggon never particularly liked, or ever would, be he would do it for his faction. Applying the drill to the hard rock in search of additional energon. The workers found themselves mining up a decent amount of energon, and at once, when they could start making trips from here to the Autobot base via ground-bridge, they did exactly that.
The vehicon steadily continued his own work. He knew the darkness of a mine well, and though he disliked such work, he could do it quite professionally. One of his jobs before the war had been a miner, and so using the same skills he had then to the present was something that Taggon found easily doable. Taggon still wondered why this shaft had been abandoned, and who had made it? it looked to be quite unique in its designs, quite strange in it s workings. The architecture was quite old, implying that no one had been around for a few centuries at the least. Either way, the vehicon knew that the blackness was the best place for anyone to strike, so watching his step would be wise. All of the miners were armed, since they sensed something a little uneasy in the air as well as they worked.

Windtalekr nuzzled his feathers. Something was off. He would take to the skies, but that would break the private comm with Taggon.

It was like a whisper.
Only unspoken. Like someone patting another person on a shoulder, and everyone ignoring it as they worked. It was something in the air; a sensation, an unspoken riddle. Something that would cause anyone to look over their shoulder, and not be blamed for it. Taggon continued to load energon in, as he kept his optics keened and narrowed from behind his helmet. The energon was transported from the mine to the Autobot base. Nothing was said, a blanket of silence and uncomforted mechs coating the atmosphere under ground. It was not the work nor the effort that added to the feeling either. it was just...there. Taggon recognized the small traces of fear, or something like that in the air. Taggon dug the tip of his drill into the ground, cutting into the rock, and shattering the barrier of solid matter with his strong and able arms. The vehicon's silver paint was scratched by now, his paint ether with the markings of a miner, the rocks scratching him all over, yet never causing him to bleed.
Taggon continued the pattern of destroying rock, taking the energon crystals, and then loading them in a cart. Back and forth. Back and forth. Yet the rhythm that had been there in most mines when all the workers worked peacefully wasn't there. No. Still that uneasiness. An hour had flown by like nothing, quickly followed by another. As Taggon treaded deeper into the mineshaft with his men and Windtalker, he finally broke the silence with his own words.
"Has any one picked up any signatures?" Taggon asked calmly,
"No sir. Just energon." came the steady reply. Taggon huffed, grunting over to a section where energon was present.
"Keep your optics peeled then." Taggon advised. They were very deep under ground, in the catacombs of the mineshaft. They could still find their way back easy, with lights set up at key points, and trains of workers coming in and out to collect energon in their carts of servos. The Autobots were getting some profit at least. Taggon turned his helm back to his spot, to find a peculiar object. It was small shiny, but it was something he wanted to pick up. Taggon chinked it from the wall, analyzing it before he realized it was a crystal of some sort. Possibly a diamond. Either way, it was something that he felt like he would maybe use later. Maybe it was just his Miner instinct telling him to take a precious gem, but Taggon just placed it in his subspace. Taggon heard a small gravelly noise to his left, and snapped his helm in that direction. It was nothing though. Or was it? The markings on the walls were ancient and undistinguishable, but Taggon and his men were armed. But where they prepared?

Taggon finished the mining mission silently, the importing of energon complete. Taggon himself was relieved to see nothing had gone wrong, as the final cart of energon left the mine and into the ground bridge leading to the Autobot base. The vehicon had worked hard himself, a small wave of fatigue washing over him as his small trip came to a conclusion. So no Decepticons had shown up. Interesting. Taggon disliked how inactive the Decepticons seemed, despite his recent encounter with Stalaken. So where to now? Taggon knew he had some plans, and he would have to execute them quite quietly if no one were to know precisely what he was up to. Taggon exited through ground bridge as well, giving one last glance at the mysterious markings before the ground bridge sealed behind him.
