Windchime flinches as Targix suddenly yells and she bounces him a bit more.
-------------------------------------
Hexiden frowns and raises his tone to them. Both of you, stop it, it, it. There's no point in fighting your own allies, -lies, -lies! All four of us are born during the war, there's nothing special about that, that, that.
He takes a vent. ....I'm Hexiden, and this is Windchime and Targix, -gix, -gix.

Short turns his glare to Hexiden.
Short: Nobody can talk to me like that except my father. Though you have a point.
Turning his now calm gaze to Targix, he spoke once more.
Short: Right, my father and uncles taught me, though only my father was able to teach of any real depth.
Short adressed the entire family when he spoke now.
Short: You seem to be trustworthy, so I guess I'll tell you my name. I am Short, and I have half of a Spark. I am not a normal cybertronian as I am not a complete being. My other half is still in Chicago, no doubt quivering in a dumpster.

Windchime nods. It's a pleasure to meet you, Short....
-------------------------------------
Hexiden raises a pair of ridges again. Split spark twins huh, huh, huh?....Why would he be there, there, there?

Short: Simple. That's where there was a battle. We lost our leader, I think. I watched it happen. I fought against a femme and a mech and helped evacuate people. And Targix, it's alright, I am sorry as well. I simply wish to be friends as there are no other sparklings here. Also, Stock is not my twin. He is not my brother, not my twin, not my friend. He is my counterpart. It's a lot like all of those things, but mashed together. I still don't fully get it.

Post by Doctor Chiro on Apr 4, 2015 8:10:57 GMT
Chiro quietly watched the scene before her as there was not much she could do. The young ones were being... well, young and butting heads. She half tuned it out as her thoughts turned to what may have happened in Chicago. The Second in Command, Feenixfire, was holding The Matrix. The Matrix. Where was Watchman? As soon as the question ran through her processor, a mentioning of a half spark brought her attention back to reality. She let the thoughts fall to the back of her processor as she listened a little while longer before she spoke up.
"If I'm understanding what Short is saying, he is one half of a whole. A split spark, yes, but not twins as they are not two permanent separate beings. In actuality, they are one being, but have two halves that can act and function on their own. I have heard of beings like that before, though I've never met one. Until now."
She looked to the sparkling, Short, and smiled. While the announcement was being broadcasted, she felt she needed to be there. She looked to each in turn.
"I am heading to the Command Center for the meeting. You are free to stay here and chat if you like. And Windchime, any kind of help around here would be much appreciated."
Chiro smiled at the wolf femme and left.

Scaag rolled into the Isolation ward in his grenade mode and beeped a little. He was bored and wanted to do something fun. He had already painted all the wards, except for the NE-ward since he was locked out from there. He hadn't done anything bad though.... At least he didn't think so. He didn't really look where he rolled and managed to roll into Chiro's pede after accidentally hitting Short. He transformed back into robot mode and looked up at Chiro with a huge smile on his tiny face. But she didn't notice him so he transformed again and followed her.

Short nods at Chiro. She was spot on. A single tear escaped Short's optic as he thought about the whole thing. Short: She's right. She's exactly right. But I only know how to fuse with Stock, I don't know how to split.

Hexiden nods ay Chiro as she leaves as well as Short. I see, see, see.
He stays silent in thought as he comprehends the concept. He then looks to Windchime and Targix and shows them their room key card. Shall we see our new room, room, room?

*Targix looked around him, sensing the base's atmosphere, he sighs and jumps out of Windchime's grip, walking out of the Medical Bay alone.*

Short followed Targix, the sparkling seemed troubled, and that was never good. The war had taken enough, and it would not take this sparkling's happiness. Not like it had his own.

Hexiden blinks at the sparklings as they leave and vents sadly with Windchime. He looks up to her and pats her shoulder as he reaches for her servo. He gently grabs a hold on it as leads her out.

Post by Taggon on Jul 15, 2015 22:50:05 GMT
((Underlining injuries...for any medic that stops by.))
A green vortex formed in the Surgical ward, before The recognizable figure of Taggon trundled in, holding Commander Astrinal's figure. Taggon knew it was perhaps rude to interrupt their time together with their duty...but the mission always came first. Hopefully Astrinal wouldn't engage into combat right after her repair--or before. Though that was a funny hope, knowing his Commander. She would be on the field as soon as she could, most likely. Taggon continued to walk rather carefully, since she had a broken spine. Other than that major injury, Astrinal had a large cut in the middle of her upper arm, and a few scratches here and there thanks to the rocks that had fallen on her. She wasn't all that battered, she actually could have continued fighting if her spine wasn't...out of order.
The pitch black vehicon with the blue visor slowly set Astrinal down on a berth, carefully transferring her to a place where she could lay down. Again being quite careful and gentle in his actions, endeavoring to let her feel the least amount of pain possible. Though he knew that he might be grimacing at this point. The spine was a valuable part of a Cybertronians body, and to break it meant bad things for those who liked walking, running...and doing sit-ups. Taggon didn't bother leaving yet though. He still had his wrist cuffed to her own, which meant he wouldn't be going anywhere until she pulled out a key.
"Commander, unless you desire me to remain with you, would it be alright if you permitted me to take my absence?" Taggon gestured at the cuff. For someone who had just mentioned the fact that missions awaited, he spoke quite calmly.

"Ya, Sure thing Taggon. Let me just-"
With one of her good arms, Astrinal fished the key from one of her forearm compartments, and swiftly unlocking herself from Taggon. The cuffs would fall to the ground, and Astrinal's other arm fell to her side. Astrinal tried to prop herself up with one elbow, looking around and yelling, which was talking to her.
"I need a medic, I've got a battlefield waiting for me." Astrinal stated rudely.

With his servos untied, and his freedom confirmed verbally and physically, the vehicon saluted his Commander after standing up straight. Afterwards he wordlessly pardoned himself into the shadows, he no longer had any business here. He had fights and studies to attend to, other important things that required his full attention. Personally, his time with Astrinal was something he found...peculiar. He had never seen his Commander so open, or using all this different facial expression. Really, she had only used a few, but to see none of them being combinations of her brows furrowing in frustration, rage, or intensity was something slightly new.
Taggon never looked behind his shoulder, his blue visor embracing the blackness he slipped into full on, as he vanished into the shadowy and unlit areas of the Autobot halls.

Astrinal grumbled a series of curse words, angry with the wait. There was a battlefield waiting, a battle, and she had a dislocated spine. Well, that's what she believed. Taggon likes to overwhelm his results. Astrinal thought, turning herself over onto her stomach. If a medic would fix her, she'd fix herself! Astrinal was no medic, but she did know some field medicine. Reaching for some surgical utensils on a nearby surface, Astrinal reached to her back and cut thesurface with a knife. She groaned in pain, but kept the bubbling screams in her stomach.
Astrinal felt the energon deep from the open wound, which meant she'd found her way to the own spinal area. Using one of her servos, Astrinal reached for a clamp, not exactly sure what it was. She didn't care, since it looked like something that could work. So, without a second thought, Astrinal stuck the clamp in thefractured section of her spine. The pain emitting from her back made her groan a bit louder. But it eventually recided. Astrinal kept pressing the clamp in, until a 'pop' filled her audio receptors. Knowing she'd implanted the clamp, Astrinal reached fora weilder, making note that she had to close her back up. Astrinal turned the weilder on, and struggled to close the wound. A series of fifteen minutes passed, and Astrinal's once fractured back was now fixed with a temporary solution.
Dragging herself from the berth, Astrinal fell to her hands and knees. Okay, so I still have strength in my legs.. She thought. Get your Assplate up, you wimp. It's just a scratch...

Five minutes later, Astrinal found herself at the sink, washing her own energon from her servos. Astrinal halfway leaned onto the sink's base, while the rest was held up by her own strength. The clamp made her balance wonky, but she'd be okay. Without another glance, Astrinal left the medbay.
