Scaag rolled inside the recovery ward and chirped a little. His paintings had been very successful, at least in his opininon and they hadn't been cleaned away yet. He was very happy about that and even did a little jump to show his feelings. He suddenly came to a realization: Maybe he could paint even more stuff! He looked around and didn't see anyone except a femme inside so he began to work. He brought out his paintbrush and went to the nearby berth and table next to it. The color he would pick was a very bright shade of green, almost so bright that it hurt to look. But only almost. He happily beeped as he painted and had as fun as a little painting grenade could have.

Riptide walked through the groundbridge from Fort Worth, holding the stump of his left arm.
Anyone mind giving me a hand? Heh, seriously though, I need a new left forearm.
He sat on a berth and groaned, the pain from his destroyed left arm coming on full force now.

Chiro's voice echoed into the room from the medbay's comm speakers. :: If everyone who is there could come over to the Repair Room, that would be much appreciated. ::

((Um, you all left Kryse behind. Could I ask if it would be fair if I retrieved her, or tried to? I thought I'd ask some of the people who were in the battle, since I was the one to say it was time to go.))

Stormgear had been hanging out on a berth when she noticed the lack of people in the medbay. It was near silent, besides the half-arsed yelling of Chiro and Riptide. Stormgear hadn't been able to sleep, or even get any shut eye. The medbay- It's to freakin' creepy... Then she eyed the controls, which she smirked. Go now, gogogogogogogogogogogoooo
Hoppping off her berth and crouching, Stormgear made her second attempt to escape the medbay. The controls were much closer to her, which this time she could peacefully get out. She pressed a random pair of coordinates, and a groundbridge opened. She didn't care where it went, she wanted to get out. By now, she could predict Chiro noticing her, which she sprinted through the green vortex, holding onto the patch on her neck.

Unfortunately for Stormgear, today was really a bad day for sneaking around.
The portal which Taggon had stepped into to be apart of the rescue team produced an injured Kryse and a a very injured vehicon, both clanking to the floor before a missile came through. Upon seeing the missile, Taggon knew he could do very little in order to protect himself from it. So he shoved Kryse away the best he could with his servo that held his heavy pistol, and though she only scuttled a few feet away, Taggon knew it would have to do. He then brought up his fore arms, which had his best armor in them, as the missile made contact, making a terrific blast. The bridge had closed, and the smoke settled, and Taggon's form lay still.
------------
I am...still alive... Taggon reassured himself, as he opened his optics behind his visor. His mask had saved his face from most of the damage, and his fore-arms had taken most of the blast. Taggon wasn't sure he wanted to move though, and the pain kicked in. Taggon let out a groan, as he looked down on himself...His fore-arm armor was practically gone, his first two layers of armor gone, and his catcher layer destroyed on his fore arms. The insides of his endo skeleton were functional, but they had received damage nonetheless. Taggon's chest had faired better, but every other part of his felt terrible. Pian was kicking in all over his body, and the vehicon began to wonder if it was a blessing that he was still alive. His groan grew in noise more, and energon trickled from his legs, and parts of his chest. The streams were small, but he had such a large wound that he had quite a few streams of energon coming out of him, and onto the ground.
Taggon also lacked one of his servos, and the west began bleeding as well. Curse the femme and her missile. Dark spots began to cloud Taggon's vision, as he slowly began slipping into stasis lock. The plasma missile had hit him dead on, and his armor had previously been tested by quite a few other opponents shots and attempts to bring him down. At least everyone else made it out. Taggon grunted, his moan slowly quieting down.

Kryse tumbled to the floor, the missile's shockwave picking her up and smashing her into the far wall of the medbay. The shockwave would likely also be sufficient to topple others, send equipment flyng, and knock patients off their berths......
The femme drops to the ground, energon still streaming fro her sliced-open abdomen, the rest of her chassis heavily battered. All told she had; a dislocated shoulder, a broken knee, a fractured leg, three missing fingers, collapsed armor on her back and legs, helm-trauma, and a long, deep wound that stretched from just below her chest nearly to her crotch, energon and bits of her insides falling out of the wound.....

Chiro ran into the Ward and saw the remnants of what looked to be a missile explosion. Two familiar figures laying on the far side of the ward among a scattering of equipment and a nice scorch mark on the floor near them. She ran over to them and carefully picked up each, one at a time, and moved them to nearby -clean- berths. Then she quickly got IV Energon drips for them and hooked one up to each.
If this was how these two ended up... Chiro thought to herself. She feared the worst for when the others made their way to the medbay. She then prepared for surgical repairs on both. Though she knew she could only work one at a time effectively.
She did note that one of the berths was painted a bright green so she knew that the small grenade mech had to be nearby somewhere.

Scaag had just been painting happily as a big explosion had occured, in the same room he was in! That was not a good thing at all. The relulting force ripped off his arm and sent him flying, crashing into nearby objects like a chair and a berth. That didn't make him happier either as his legs got broken from the impact and his helm hit the wall pretty badly. That also activated his emergency settings which meant that now he would soon do what an explosive does best, namely blowing up. He started beeping and it started slow but it would get more intense as time passed..

It took Chiro a moment before she realized that what she was hearing was not the beeping of damaged equipment, that was the familiar beeping of Scaag. And it didn't sound good. Chiro quickly looked around, following the beeping sound, and found the little mech broken and battered a little ways off.
"Oh..." Chiro flipped down her visor and gingerly picked up the little mech. Her energon ran cold from the readings. The damage he had taken seemed to set his systems into motion towards what his alt mode was. She quickly but carefully set him down on the nearby berth and got to work. Using her visor as both a monitor of his condition and as a high-powered magnifying glass, she carefully opened his tiny helm to inspect the damage. She then quickly got what she needed for the repairs and returned.
It had a decent dent on the covering and the circuitry underneath was in bad shape. She analyzed his schematics, tracing what wire went to what component. The last thing she needed was to pull the wrong wire. She quickly got to work replacing and re-attaching wires that were safe to touch and were damaged. She also was replacing the parts that were too damaged to simply repair but knew that wouldn't trigger an explosion. She wanted to make sure that Scaag would be ok when it came time to removing his trigger and that he wasn't dependent on that part of him to live.
Then it came down to his self-destruct components. They were indeed damaged and needed to be removed. Chiro bit her derma. She could NOT afford to screw it up but she had faith in her eons of experience. She carefully traced the wires and where they connected to, making sure she pulled the right one. She calculated every little detail quickly, double checking before she pulled the chosen wire. She prayed to Primus that the beeping would stop and the emergency detonating sequence would halt...

Lady, running down to the riptide taken away to the dark side I wanna be your left hand man...
Riptide sang as he walked into the recovery ward to check on any others coming in from the battle. He shut off his music and the earbuds unplug and retreat back into his collar. His left fore-arm was still missing, though Vertigo was making him a new one. He saw Wildfire and jogged over to her.
Wildfire, hold up, I'll take you to the repair room. Is Skyspray still in the field?
Riptide asked, glancing over her wounds. He pulled out a cube of energon and handed it to her.
Here, drink this and replenish your tank.
He looked over and saw Chiro working on Scaag. Raising an optic ridge he called over to her.
Doc, is Scaag alright? Looks like there was an explosion in here.

Sky walked into the recovery ward and stopped in the doorframe. The entire place had been destroyed, painted which clearly was the work of a particular little mech, but also completely destroyed. He could see Taggon and the femme from before laying on berths, Chiro sitting against a wall, doing something which he couldn't see and of course his mother and Riptide too, although they were leaving. He took some steps inside and threw the big shield at a wall before walking over to the downed bots. Their wounds did not look pretty and even if he himself was in dire needs of repairs, he would take that later. He laid his servos on both of them and vented heavily. This wouldn't be easy. Small beams of energon flowed from his servos into their bodies, keeping them in a stabe condition as well as making their energon "freeze". That meant that the energon would stop flowing and stay in its place, keeping them from bleeding out, but they couldn't move either. The IV helped of course, but it wouldn't stop everything that he now helped stop.
I want a status report. What happened? And don't.... Spare.... Any deatails.. Understood?
It was draining on his powers to keep the bots stable and he couldn't do it for long. His own energon levels were already low and they wern't exactly getting bigger by using them to keep others alive.

Scaag remained unconcious as he was being worked on. His condition was slowly improving but the beeping continued. Some of the wires weren't connected correctly and some wires had been damaged beyon repairs. And time was running short as the beeping grew louder and came faster and faster. But he was beginning wake up, which might be a good thing. Or he'd freak out when he saw what had happened..

Chiro heard Riptide address her, but she didn't look up. There was still plenty to be done and the impending beeping had not stopped. "There was indeed an explosion. Taggon, Kryse, and Scaag were all here when it happened. I'll tell you more when I'm done keeping Scaag from blowing up on us." She said flatly and continued working. Now she was recalculating the circuit board lineup and wire connections. She wanted to hit her processor on the wall. How could she be so STUPID? She then began to carefully replacing the misaligned wires and the damaged ones. Splicing and welding the new wires in place. In their correct place given her slight miscalculation on how he was constructed. He was not a normal Cybertronian, but a creation. There WAS as difference.
She felt Scaag beginning to stir under her servos. She frowned a bit before calculating the exact dose of tranquilizer needed to keep the little mech sedated. The last thing she wanted was for him to panic and trigger his own explosion. Or move and her slip up and injure him somehow. After giving him the tranquilizer, she continued working. Focusing on repairing kept her calm as her servos worked quickly and deftly, finishing the repairs on his little helm before he fully work up.

Riptide would nod before opening his mouth in shock.
Scaag... blowing... up? You mean as in Scaag the nuclear grenade? Oh... great. Yeah, Wildfire, let's go to the repair room... then Mexico... or the Moon. Not that I don't have faith in your abilities doc.
He would then lead Wildfire into the repair room next door.

Oh great.... That was a really bad thing that just happened. If Scaag blew up.... He quickly thought of something else. If he was honest, he kinda thought it was Taggon and the femme's own fault for going into the battle when he had told them not to. But he still cared enough about them to actually try and help them. They didn't bleed anymore, which was good but it also drained on Sky's power. He could feel his energon leaving his body and would soon need more. And his endoskeleton was exposed at various places, the brightly orange mesh shining brightly against his otherwise green armor.
Any... Energon to spare?...
--------------------------------------
Scaag fell back down into stasis and but the beeping continued even stronger than before. But suddenly it stopped, like if it never had beeped before. Why? There wasn't really a reason for it except for when that a wire had been rearranged, it had reset the fuse. But it had also triggered his processor into making him wake up and he did so with a jolt. The first thing he did was to pick up his paintbrush with his only functional arm and began painting Chiro's faceplate which was possible because she had to be very close to see anything inside him. That allowed him to reach it, at least with the paintbrush. It was just a reflex, and he wasn't really in control of it.

Chiro froze for a moment, unsure of how to process what just happened. By the time she did, a solid layer of paint was on her face. She quickly stood up and flipped her visor up, allowing her to see again. She couldn't help but smiled at the little mech, happy to see that he was more or less well again. Or at least not blowing up.
She heard Sky call for help and she quickly rushed over and attached an Energon IV drip to him. "There, that should hold you for a bit."
Chiro exvented as she made herself relax. "I'm a doctor, not a bomb squad... But apparently I can do both at the same time." She said as she looked back over at the little mech. "Though, there's plenty of work to be done here..." She then reassessed each patient for the severity of their wounds.
