"Your information will remain anonymous and no con will find out that you gave us information. You will be safe."
*She wasn't wriggling, she was being friendly cause she knew fine well. Torture got prisoners to say what the torturers want to hear, it may not be true and onky dobe to lessen pain. Being friendly did mean she could manipulate her.*

"Well, they kinda would..."
Hotwire grins.
"Y'see, if I'm gonna get onto the Nemesis and pick up new jobs from those tight-fisted mother-boarders, I'm gonna need a Track-Bridge..."
She sees Feen's question in her optics.
"It's a tracker that holds one end of a Ground Bridge, and you hold the other. How do you think I got the job in the first place? I've got one end on the Nemesis. It has to be replaced each time you use it though. You go through, you won't get back."

*Feenix raises an optic ridge, her optics brighten in a classic predacon curiosity.*

"Yeah, like the end of a Ground Bridge that can come out at any predestined point. Mine's set to take a ride back to the Nemesis. But every time I get back there, I have to set it again."
Hotwire smirks.
"So I don't see what good it would do you. One person, one trip, one way, each time. By the time you'd gotten through the other end you'd be scrapped inside out."

"That is the only bad part. It is a one way ticket, not a round trip. We cannot afford to risk soldiers like that on a whim and a prayer. Any other options? Besides prisoner exchange."
*She says, as much as she wanted to try the bridge idea, it seemed too much of a trap.*

"Don't be insane. It would only work if you had a prisoner of greater value to trade. Shockers doesn't make compromises..."
Hotwire shrugs, something occurring to her and reminding Feenix that while the mercenary is no idiot, thinking in straight lines is not her forte.
"Y'know, if that purple-headed pillock wants your husband alive, he's probably going to wipe his memory and enslave him. At least that's what all this logically leads up to. Although where the Doc comes into it I don't know..."

*She glances quickly at Burnout to check that he was fine and then back to hotwire. With an almost, I expected this, kind of look. She rubs her opticw and says.*
"While the first is no surprise and I admit Shockwave always wanted to try some kind of mind control... like what those rumours said about... I cannot see why this... little doctor, comes into it either.
*To be honest, that last part was a lie and a very well concealed one. Predaking... Wildfire has spoke about the Great Founder of the clans... alive once more. Why? How? Shockwave was the only answer to this as she remembered his Dinobot project.*

"Mind control... Yeah, well Decepticons are hardly the first-"
Hotwire rubbed her helm. She felt for a moment like her thoughts were buzzing like a swarm of scraplets.
"Don't know what that was about. I'd say your best option was asking the doctor!"

"Hardly the first?"
*She vents and blinks. (
"If we cannot catch her then we cannot do that."

"I can... try," Hotwire grins awkwardly, "But I don't like making promises on that kind of job. Kick-Start might be little, but she didn't get to be a Commander by being stupid. And-"
Every time she wanted to say something, her head fuzzed up and made herself say something else.
"There's something wrong with my head! I can't think straight!"

"I understand Hotwire. If you feel like it won't work or it's too dangerous, then do not risk it."
*She sees that this was causing her distress and vents.*
"We will speak again before you are released. Until then, Round up, I want her fed and kept comfortable until her release, no questions asked. And no one is allowed to question her unless it is someone with higher orders than moi."
*She turns to Burnout and smiles at him as best she could.*

Hotwire slumps in her seat. She's more confused than in pain. Something is keeping her from thinking certain things - not so much from helping the Autobots, but from telling them about some things. She can't remember what it is herself.
"Great, so now my great talents as a mercenary are to be used in here. Got a rubber ball?"
She settles down on one berth and swings her legs up against a wall, mimicking bouncing a ball. They can hear her mutter.
"Until her release... yeah, like I haven't heard that one before."

Burnout nods to Feenix, he'd learned quite a bit about interrogation he thought... but what really interested burnout was his interest in relics, he wanted to be like a hunter like the ones from the films he's seen.

Round Up salutes Feenixfire.
Yes Ma'am, I'll keep her secure and safe during her stay.
Deputy would put away the tools he'd been using to clean the cell and wipe his visor. For a minicon he loved working, it was just another game to him... mind you he didn't find it fun cleaning up another's energon... especially undigested, he shudders a little and goes to Round Up's side.

"So, you're going to leave me to rust," Hotwire smiled upside down, "With nothing to keep me company... but these..."
She pulled one of the two relics that Shockwave had given her out of her chassis, showing it to them casually.

*Feenix reaches into her bag and shuffles about her claws in there. Her subspace was actually her bag funny enough. She then pulls out a rubber ball and throws it to Hotwire to catch, to her the request was simple enough.
She looks at the relics and raises an optic ridge, not fully aware of her son's career path and dream.
She then winces suddenly, her optic lids tightly closed as her spark gave off a terrible pain. She lets out a tiny growl to herself and knew instsntly this was to do with Gearchange.*

Hotwire put down one relic and started bouncing the ball, but when Feenix winced she shifted to look, knowing instinctively what was happening - she had lost those close to her Spark before.
To her eternal surprise, words tinged with concern left her mouth.
"It's Gears, isn't it - oh!" She raised both hands to her mouth in shock that even for the tiniest moment she had cared. She also missed the bounce of the ball.

*Feenix fought to remain standing, breathing heavily to try and dull the pain. But it wasn't working at all as her spark cried out in pain. She could feel the chemicals used in Gear's spark and his rage and pain. She grits her fangs and nods at Hotwire. Her optics looking shiny... shiny due to being nearly in tears.*

Hotwire stood up, still surprised that she gave a rat's ass.
"Stay calm. The link is two-way; it's worse because you're letting it be worse. When you feel his pain and let yourself be hurt by it, then he feels your pain and he is more hurt. And all that."
She leant on the wall.
"Close your optics. Think back. Way back to the very first time you met. Before you were merged. Even if you met under bad circumstances, think of your very first meeting, concentrate on it, and go there, instead of here."

Vampyricon raised an optic ridge. His face didn't suffer much from Hotwire's punch since he used his gravitational powers to deflect it. She wasn't as emotionless as he thought she was.
"Anything else you know about what's happening to the Maximus?" Vampyricon asked. "Wait, that's a stupid question. Is there any way to download the coords of the Nemesis?"
