This is an interesting idea, here are my favorites.
Kanto: Dragonite Johoto: Tyrannitar Hoenn: Groudon Sinnoh: Garchomp Unova: Hydreigon Kalos: Noivern, and Tyrantrum
As you can see I really like Dragon type's.
My most Current team is a mono-type that consists of all Dragon Types.
Noivern Dragonite Tyrantrum Salamence Garchomp/Flygon depending Mega Charizard X.
I usually don't use legendaries, but some times I replace Charizard with Rayquaza just to spice things up a bit. I do breed Dragon types from time to time, so if anyone needs a certain Dragon type let me know. And, if anyone needs a potentially powerful Charmander, I have yet to breed a weak one so again feel free to let me know.

I'm definitely a trainer for the most part, and a competitive battler. But, I'm also as I've said, a Dragon type breeder so I'm not completely heartless.

I'm going to say two words, just because I'm curious to see how you guys will react to the topic involving the two words.

I never really bred my Pokemon, so I'm a Trainer. Also, in Pokemon Y, my team are all LV 90s except for Lucario, who's level 100. I'm gonna get Pokemon X today and train a similar team. I gonna try for this.
Delphox (Mega) Blastoise Raichu (Mega) Lucario Pidgeot Lapras

Walks up to Photon like a sketchy dealer. -Psst hey kid would you like a Volt-tackle Pichu, or Pikachu that you can evolve into a Raichu? Help me evolve my Seadra, and I'll give you a Volt-tackle Pichu, or Pikachu with with really good stats.- (The offers actually open to everybody, I just really need a Kingdra to complete my ultimate Dragon team.)

You are reminding me of Lance. Damn, I hated his rematch team in HeartGold/SoulSilver.

Well yeah, Dragons or Ice Types could take down Lamce easily. If Lance appears in any 6th Gen and beyond games, I have one strategy.
Slyveon.

I just thought of an idea for the obligatory remakes of Gen 7. Since the last one were Ruby/Sapphire remakes, I'm guessing Diamond/Pearl and maybe Platinum are next. For Diamond, I'd call it Temporal Diamond, Pearl, Spatial Pearl, Platinum, Negative Platinum. And for a new Sinnoh game... Drumroll, please? *Makes drumroll with fingers on table* Ow, my fingers. Anyway, the new Sinnoh game... Golden Quartz. It is about Arceus and it gives him a backstory and it gives it new forms. Arceus has 6 forms and here they are. P.S. All these forms keep Arceus' color scheme. Phase 1: The way Arceus normally looks. It is known as Arceus Quadriped Form. Phase 2: Arceus Sky Form. It becomes a Pheonix and becomes Fire/Flying Type. Arceus can go into this form whenever you want. Visual Representation: orig12.deviantart.net/f759/f/2011/117/9/b/flight_of_the_golden_phoenix_by_shadowulf1-d3f20cl.jpgPhase 3: Arceus Temporal Form. Arceus absorbs Dialga and gains its powers, becoming the same shape as Dialga, just being Arceus' normal color scheme. Arceus becomes Steel/Dragon Type like Dialga. After beating story mode, use Roar of Time to go into this form. Visual Representation: img.pokemondb.net/artwork/dialga.jpgPhase 4: Arceus Spatial Form. Arceus absorbs Palkia and gains its powers, becoming the same shape, but like the other forms, regains its color scheme. Arceus acquires Palkia's Type of Water and Dragon. After story mode, use Spatial Rend to use this form. Visual Representation: cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/thumb/6/66/484Palkia.png/250px-484Palkia.pngPhase 5: Arceus Negative Form. Arceus' Negative Form is what happens when he absorbs Girantina. Arceus cannot keep this form for long or else the universe will spiral into chaos. In Golden Quartz, Team Galactic will put Arceus in this form and the universe will begin to be destroyed, so you(player) will need to team up with the Team Galactic leader to stop Arceus (and catch him). He becomes Ghost and Fairy Type. This is the only form to not have the same color scheme as normal Arceus. He becomes a dark grey, purple and black with red eyes. Unlike the other other forms, you cannot use this. Visual Representation: orig00.deviantart.net/033b/f/2013/234/9/6/gfr_487___dragoon_of_giratina_by_gijinka_fr-d6jae3v.jpgPhase 6: Arceus Infinty Form (Bipedal and Quadriped). This is Arceus' final and strongest form. Arceus gets this form when the universe is in such peril that he takes this form to restore it. He becomes Fairy and Dragon Type. Arceus goes into this form the same way Pokemon Mega Evolve, apart from holding the rock. Press the button, you got Infinity Form. You can only use it once a day, though. It's definitely going to have something to do with Zygarde. But, honestly if they did do a remake, I think a Kanto remake would be good, only because of Pokemon hitting it's 20 year mark. But, you're right by chronological order D&P should be next.
