"Not a word about what?" a small voice pipes up behind Vos. There is the sound of a wheel revving gently against the floor - the very basic equivalent of Nickel tapping her pede in irritation as she looks up at two backs of Voses. "Trying something clever again, Vos? Bad idea, considering how little experience you have," Nickel snaps at him. ((Posting for the heck of it...))
One Vos Stiffened, the other turned around nonchalantly. Both exchanged a glance, before the slightly nervous one seemingly settled down some. Vos himself cocked his helm to the little femme,
"Why if it isn't our minicon medic. How nice of you to reunite with the rest of the DJD." Vos said, giving a small hand signal to his A.I., as to make him keep a cool helm. Vos wondered if Nickel would jump up and smash a dent in his face for how he was going to attempt to play things out. "That's a rather cruel little joke now isn't it, considering I am this squad's scientist to some extents. I simply needed an assistant in my lab, and since after a small little incident with my ape of an assistant, I decided I could only trust myself when it came to my own experiments, since the lot of you either step, smash, hassle, or--" Vos tilted his helm back to it's normal position,
"--'Clean up', my experiments. And since I in my consciousness I trust myself, I over there trusts me." Vos explained still using ancient primal vernacular. "Now if you would withhold your shameless audacity for destroying this experiment, or me in other words, it would be much appreciated." Vos replied to Nickel. He was going to get it now, but that didn't matter. Over the years, no matter what he did with his experiments, someone stomped on them, or Nickel was too thorough 'cleaning up' after him. it was really annoying, considering Vos would have cleaned up his own messes if they gave him the chance. Then again there were times when he needed an experiment to lay around to see some effects...
"Try to pardon me for talking back." The A.I. gestured to Vos, "I think he's been rather grouchy these past days, an has an obsession with all his little toys. If I didn't know better, I would simply say that it is for the best that my experiments are stomped or cleaned up. For instance, tapering with the power-cell of our flagship just so I could see if I could reboot a processor wasn't perhaps the brightest idea." The A.I. pointed out cooly. Vos switched his helm around. He wanted to punch this A.I. rather badly, but then again, he himself had conflicted feelings about talking back to Nickel. But whatever. Helen and Kaon soon made there entrance, both keeping to themselves for the most part. Luckily for Vos, they didn't know his identical, though surely they would as time went on.

Tarn was watching his crew silently as they made their way into his quarters. Two were missing for now, but he had no doubts they would make their way through soon enough. For the one, it would not be out of character for him to take his time since, well, he was a little awkward with movement anyway. Tarn was currently thinking about his courses of action. Of course he had heard what Backbeat had said, silently wondering if the 'leader' had some sort of mind-reading spies or if there were others who were just as disappointed with the way leadership was currently taking the faction. Either way it was intriguing to the head of the DJD and while the others had their little talks amongst themselves ( mostly Nickel and Vos... or his twin... ) Tarn was silently awaiting his next choice of words.
Without speaking to them directly, he stood from his chair and gazed upon them. Each one of them played a vital role to the team, much like how he had felt about the Decepticons. Thankfully his little band of misfits were their own thing with a different set of rules or else they would have had to fall in direct line with whatever Backbeat was planning. Of course they worked better alone with what they did in and of themselves, but for this next step to be taken he would need outside assistance. How would they all react?
"Helex, I am aware of Backbeat's words. As foolish as they sound, none can argue that some of the Decepticons would be more than intrigued by this. It is merely a play he is directing to keep those falling away from him in line. The director is calling to arms, but the whispers of his cast are still there. As such..." Tarn folded his servos together behind his back and looked between each of them again. "I am well aware of the Decepticons stand in this war. There is little doubt that our enemies are the Autobots, but this... lack of descretion and failure of honor is not what Megatron had in mind when he began the rebellion. It must stop. The fact that Backbeat has attempted to push us into that level of dishonor by altering our objectives to not what Lord Megatron wanted, and instead what he finds to be worthy of our list is... laughable at best. I have my own thoughts to what we should do about this, but I want your opinions on the matter as well before any moves are made."

"It's no wonder there are people betraying the Decepticons, with Backbeat so inept that he actually has to tell his troops not to mutiny!" Nickel pipes up, "It should be a given!"
She continues shortly though.
"But just... throwing a revolt like a collection of dissatisfied younglings..." she frowns, "You're not going to get any support acting like that."

Vos stroked his chin. His input....well, he was supposed to be silent up to this point, but had obviously failed, and he had no one to blame but himself unfortunately. Now, as for input. Nickel had her own view on things, and was obviously not going to give him the grace of rolling her topics at him, or hitting him at all. Maybe he'd get bitten in the aft later though. Either way, he was going to have to speak up now.
"Throughout my time here, I've seen many clever Decepticons come and go, including Shockwave himself, rest his spark. Backbeat is insane, perhaps one who could be considered a master planner, save a few things which often cripple his plans: Thinkers. There are a handful of bots, some like us, who think differently, and take their own path. he does not often take this into consideration according to my research, and tried to appeal to the masses, though the few who do not go with the trend end up soiling his plans half the time. He at times sets himself up for failure this way...since he cannot take into account all Decepticons, and focuses mainly on the more brainless ones anyways.
In conclusion of analysis, in some ways, I like this Backbeat precisely where he is. He struggles to do anything extremely large, leaving plenty of space for me--or us to go on our own ventures. It was in our job description to keep Decepticons in line, but not to lead them. I would suggest re-writing an important figure head into a puppet, but Shockwave attempted such, and to tighten one's grip only means to allow that clutched item to slip through the servo digits even faster. yet if you open your palm, the said item will fall out nonetheless. To the point, Backbeat is no Megatron. No mech will ever be. This Backbeat holds no principles but his own twisted and strange philosophy, but I would not bother throwing a revolt any time soon as Nickel has said. No." Vos said in his ancient primal vernacular.
"A logical option would simply be reaching out to the intelligent Decepticons, but we have tainted ourselves in their optics, and not everyone responds to reason. If we can find key mechs and femmes though, three, two, we may be able to get somewhere. However. If we are to be the correction of this faction, we must move slowly and steadily, and from a distance." Vos said. Genuinely, he was having conflicted feelings about everything. it was rather distracting, to be divided at every turn. His A.I. remained quiet, yet in it's silence, it was coming in and out of Vos's train of thought without lifting a finger, disrupting his mind by simply opening a door and closing it in his head.

Hearing the explosion come from Kaon's room, Helex ran out of Tarn's, a distinct look of "oh, crap" on his face.
